IMO:

1)Dallas: we are on the uptick and if we can get the oline, safety and a deep threat we will be on our way...

2) Green Bay: scary at the end of the season: will bolster their leaky defense in f.agency and the draft..

3) Gspots: hate them but they'll be formidable.

4) Arizona: IF Warner stays they'll be in the mix: if not: adios.......

5) Saints: will be potent but have a hard time recovering after the Colts wipe the floor with them in the super bowl....

.............what say you?

It is down to Dallas, Green Bay and New Orleans if people like Warner and Favre go away. Green Bay has a scary offense and a defense that can win the North easily if they add some help in the secondary. New Orleans needs to stand pat offensively and get some playmakers on defense to repeat, but they should still take their division with a little resistance from Carolina.

I also won't sign off on Philadelphia and the Giants if they take care of several issues. Carolina can be a darkhorse if they get stable quarterbacking and their running game clicks again. The Falcons are a decent team but they too have issues they have to correct, especially on defense where they just do not have the horses.

The Vikings will be in huge trouble next year. Favre might come back, but if he does not they tank for obvious reasons. Pat Williams might also quit and Griffin will miss a portion of the year thanks to his knee injury, so there goes a good chunk of their defense. Arizona simply needs Warner and a bunch of help on defense. The rest of the West is horrible so they could play five hundred ball and still get in the playoffs.

Way to early to accurately tell to be honest. With FA and the draft. There are just so many things to have to factor into what some of these other teams could do to improve and what might happen from retirements and such that will cause others to decline.

There is also that curse thing in the NFC South to think about where the team in last place one year seems to some how turn it around the next year and win the division. The Saints could, potentially, be pushed out of the playoffs in a numbers game by just the solid teams in their division.

Lots and lots to go down between now and when you can get a more accurate picture at who you might think is the favorites.

Carolina(Pukes) could be a darkhouse favorite. Then of course they will choke in the playoffs like always.

Green Bay - Definetly going to be dangerous next season

Now onto the G-Men, Iggles, and Cowboys. If the Giants make changes they could be really really good next year. Now if we stay on course, barring any injury, and no one self destructs like we usually do in even number seasons. We shall be okay.

I don't see the Giants being very good next year unless they draft really well. That defense is bad, the running game needs an upgrade. I can see us running away with this division like we did in 07.

Actually its probably easier to state the teams that have no shot...

Bucs, Skins, Rams, Seahawks and Lions

Dallas & Green Bay should be the New Orleans and Minnesota of 2010, barring major injuries or unforeseen events-

I expect Phillys offense to be even more potent and an improved defense.

I am expecting something around the lines of 13-3 season from Dallas, 13-3 from Green Bay, and 12-4 from Philly.

.......yeah I had Philly at #4, but if Warner comes back the Cards are still formidable. But if he doesn't...Philly jumps up. They'll fix what ails them, they usually do.....

After winning the off-season championship, the Skins will be poised, yet again, for a Super Bowl run.

Impossible. This time last year the Saints were sitting home in last place of the NFC South. Now look where they are.

The East is on the slide, as a whole. Even with our tough schedule, I expect us to easily clinch our division.

Green Bay, New Orleans, and the Cards will win their divisions again. I expect the Panthers and the Giants to sneak in next year as the wild cards.
