I still think Dallas is a better team.
Hmm.

You could be correct. The season will tell the tale. That said, both Dallas and Philadelphia have written two different Stephen King novels for their fans after only two games.

On one hand, Eagles' fans are reading Needful Things, wondering if what the team is showing them now is really worth it in the long run. On the other hand, Cowboys' fans are reading Misery, speculating if this 2024 team will keep their decades long hopes hostage for yet another season.

Stay tuned. For what it's worth, Jerry Jones plays Annie Wilkes in the latter analogy.

It is Dallas division to lose. And yes it is way too early to say we will not win it.

I say that because we are the current NFCE champs. And no team seemed to have improved that much over any other team.

We better hope the division is down because it could be a real struggle for the Cowboys this year. If we lose on Sunday, we’re going to have to hope all it takes is 10 wins to win the East. Even winning 10 games isn’t going to be easy if we lose on Sunday. A loss on Sunday is going to make a lot of people wonder if the Cowboys are any good. It wasn’t like they were perfect against Cleveland in the opener. Our offense disappeared in the second half.

And the beauty is...the Eagles play at the Saints this week. Now it is their turn to take a beating.

If Dallas is close to .500 by the end of the trade deadline, I would strongly look to trading for a DT on a bad team that won't make the playoffs, because Osa is in a contract year and I don't see them bringing him back.

Jerry won't do anything. A putrid division means that at .500 we are still hanging around the rim. Good enough.

The national sports media loves to dump on the Cowboys. They love to dump on Sirianni. The Giants may actually be worse than Carolina. If the division goes 0-4 this weekend all we’ll hear for months is how bad the NFC East is. It’s really just another way to dog the Cowboys.
Cowboys put a product on the field worth being dogged nationally

The Philadelphia Eagles are a Saquon Barkley buttered fingered catch attempt away from being 2-0. Perhaps they should be placed inside an NFC Least box but they are nearest the lid to push their way out at this point. All three other teams are at or near the bottom of that box, trying to claw their way out.
Let’s see how they handle the Saints.

How similar was that game to their game against Seattle last year? Had the game at the end. Then an unlikely drive to take the lead. Followed by a Hurts pick to seal it the loss. These Eagles are about to go on a tailspin and lose the next two games. That's what I think.

Wait...how is it "our division to lose"?

We're all 1-1. We don't have any advantage over the other teams that they have to wrestle away from us.

Or do you simply mean that we won it last year? If so, last year all I heard was that the NFC East Champ never repeats, so the East is ours since Philly won it the year before. LOL....Haven't heard much about the NFC East never having repeat champs THIS year... LOL, THIS year it's an advantage to have won it last year.

Gotta love the Zaney Zoners. 1-1, coming off a curb stomping, and "the division is ours to lose" HA HA HA!

the Zany Zoner”s that are always negative…no can’t love them…

Last year I said the Eagles were the favorites because the won the division the previous year. So I say the same for Dallas this year.
if you read and understand my post, I said no team was better or worse than last year from the offseason. Or that is how I meant it to say.

So what is wrong with that? As to being 1-1, so are Philly and Washington. We have no idea how any team really are yet.
so I go by last season for now.
