So i was watching PTI earlier today, and one topic came up... Which NFCE coach is safe for next year?

After giving it a little thought, I guess Garrett is probably the safest of the bunch, although i think he is the worst of all of them.

So lets leave him out.....Who do you think survives Kelly, Gruden, or Coughlin?

Gruden shouldn't have a problem although a collapse might cause one. Coughlin should be on the hot seat...again. But I think the Giants will do well enough to save him....again. Kelly should be on the hot seat but I suspect they'll give him another year.

I don't see Garrett getting fired but you never know. They play worst than expected then Jerry may pull a Jerry.

I don't think any of them get fired.

Have to agree I don't see any of them getting canned. If by some reason one was gonna go I would guess it's Gruden. Coughlin and Red would both get passes cause of all the injuries. Chip gets another year I think and it could be nothing more than wishful thinking on my part cause Strong ends up with another one and I wanna see him at Texas.

Garrett is safe. Kelly may be the one in the way out if they continue to collapse. They are getting blown out big time against teams I thought they would beat.

All I can tell you is who I have in 4th place. ;)

None of them will get fired. Eagirls will give Kelly another shot to fix this mess he's created unless he bolts on his own terms to college. The Super Bowl rings will buy Coughlin another year. Gruden is still a young coach. Garrett will have the injury excuse.

I will say if the Giants collapse and lose out or something extreme like that......that may be enough to get him fired. I don't see him doing that but that could be the nail in the coffin.

I would bet that the Shegulls' FO already has a couple of options if Kelly has another embarrassing loss.

The fans and media are apoplectic.

Sad state of affairs in the NFC Least. If the Cowboys had a better than average HC, they would dominate this division for the next few years without a struggle. We have more talent in place then all the other rivals. JG is the most incompetent HC in the group. Coughlin is fading quickly due to his brain farts lately. Gruden is unknown yet. Kelly has enough internal support and guaranteed money to stay for a few more years.

Coughlin might retire or his contract might not get renewed. I think he is in the last year of his contract but not sure.

I think Coughlin has to be on the hot seat, if the Giants don't win this division he will be gone.

Garrett is easily the safest, having just signed a 30m deal last year. Jerry likes to spend money, but he's not going to throw 24mil in the trash.

A two-time Super Bowl Winning HC is on the Hot Seat and JG is as safe as the Gold in FT. Knox. The Giants are currently tied for 1st Place and Dallas is in Last Place. There is something clearly wrong with this picture. What the heck is in the Johnny Walker scotch in Texas? I am clearly drinking the wrong or cheap scotch in crappy New Jersey.

should the giants not make the playoffs that would be 7 out of the last 8 years. how many here would like that?

It's OK. Jerry has a zillion dollars and can move Garrett into some other nepostistic position since Garrett's family.

I would take the 2 Super Bowls in the past 10 years any day over the "Participation Trophies" Dallas has accumulated with JG as assistant or HC.
