bbgun posted a blurb about that yesterday.

NY Daily news and NFC team says it's a Giants player. If it is true at all.

It would be quite funny if it were Shaun O'Hara...
not that there's anything wrong with that.

I think Strahan after his wife's accusations, Shockey after his of Parcells, and Tiki Barber were the main culprits.

And the Subway commercial

My "inside sources" tell me that Strahan will NEVER do another subways commercial. Word is he wanted to sue them but figured it would create too much negative press for himself and make him look like a laughing stock.

The whole thing happened but was kept pretty hush hush.

Anyways apparently right after shooting that commercial Strahan and Jerod were hungry. After all it was a long shoot as Strahan kept messing up the lines so they had to do many takes before getting it right. So they were there a long time and since the food was already there Michael and Jerod went over to sit down and eat.

Of course Jerod had one of his low calorie sandwiches while Strahan was really hungry and ordered a 12 inch BMT on white with double meat.

Jerod was telling Strahan that he has it down to a science and can finish off a 12 inch sub in under a minute. Strahan looked and the sub and said there was no way that Jerod could do it.

So Jerod told Strahan that if he did it under a minute that Strahan had to try.

Sure enough Jerod finished the sub in under a minute while Strahan watched in amazement.

So Jerod told Strahan it was his turn.

Strahan said he had to get ready first. So he got his game face on, started jumping around a little to psyche himself up and slapped Jerod's hand and yelled out GAME TIME!

With that Strahan sat back down and picked up the sandwich. He stared at the Sub with a never blinking penetrating glare. He yelled at the sub I AM BRINGING THE PAIN...YOU ARE GOING DOWN...YOU ARE NOTHING!!!!

After yelling those words he thrust the sub as hard as he could into his mouth while growling.

The growls turned into grunts, the grunts turned in to gags, the gags turned into whimpers and finally the whimpers turned into a mumbled plea for help.

Jerod was in shock but managed to yell for some of the producers to come over and they called 911.

Strahan was freaking out but still breathing through his nose while mumbling and whining. Most words could not be made out but Jerod would later say that he thought he heard a few words like...Coughlin, Contract, Tiki, Damn wife.

After getting to the hospital and having a Doctor look at the situation he started to talk to Strahan.

Once again Strahan mumbled more but only one question was made clear and he made considerably effort to make sure the Doctor understood the question.

The question was...Will I ever play football again?

The Doctor gave a little laugh and patted Strahan on the shoulder, like a father would reassure his son, and said...Yes Michael you will be able to play and you should have no lingering problems over the situation.

With that the Doctor told Strahan to brace himself.

The Doctor grabbed the end of the sub and gave it a quick yank.

The sub flew out and Strahan gasped in relief and started thanking his parents and jesus for getting him through the tough times.

Apparently when he forcefully put the sub in his mouth at such a velocity it got wedged in the gap between his teeth and was blocking his airway.

So you can understand why he refuses to do another commercial for subways and why he is also not going to sue. It was such an embarrassment for him and he would just like to put the terrible experience behind him.

BP, I thought you were telling a joke. I read closely, waiting for the punch line.

And the punch line is that this is a real story, at least as it was told to you.

Thanks for posting it. It is kind of interesting.

Well, maybe so.

You've got a great set up there. Work on a punchline and you'll have something.
