Dallas 11-2
at TB
Lions
at PHI

This TB game is huge for momentum and how this thing will likely play out. TB fighting for a Division championship, tied with the Falcons or a potential WC spot. If Dal wins the next 2 in a row, this thing is locked up and PHI game is a rest game IMO. First half for the starters, and rest. This SNF game will be one of the most watched ever. So much depends on this one. Dallas better be ready.

Giants 9-4
Lions
at Eagles
at Skins

2nd best Team in NFC standings and two Division foes on the road. That's a tough stretch. I think the Giants will have a very tough time with the Lions but win a close one. Game weather predicted to be rainy, snowy, icy, and very windy cold in NJ. Those 2 NFC East games though, I think haunts Eli. IMO Lose to Eagles, the Iggles Superbowl game, and makes the Skins game interesting for a possible Wild Card battle depending on what the Skins do the next 2 weeks.

Lions 9-4
at NYG
at Dallas
GB

Here is whats scary for the Lions. at Giants at Dallas and then GB. Man if they lose the next two, which I am predicting is quite possible, GB game could be a fight for win division or go home. Another Stafford collapse. At least they get GB in the dome and not at Lambeau.

Worth mentioning, I have a feeling Atlanta, Seattle and Washington are going to make some noise. Skins have their 2nd chance against NYG at home. They beat NYG in NY. Seahawks play 3 bad teams to close it out may end up with second best NFC record. ATL has 3 very winnable games also. They split with the Bucs.

------------------------

This race is far from decided. I am in the boat that this Tampa game is a must win. It puts the pressure on the rest to win out. If Dallas loses, against Tampa, we could be opening up some unappealing playoff scenarios. Best case scenario is to win the next 2 in a row. Lose to Tampa and it makes the final 2 games, must wins. Very tough to do with a Rookie in December. Lose to Tampa and the pressure is on Dallas to win. The media will have a field day if Dallas stumbles. The Romo talk will go nuts. The choke talk will be infuriating. The winning ingredient is 2 wins for HFA. I don't think any of the top teams are winning out, and 2 wins for Dallas is HFA throughout. But lose to Tampa and Dallas will become a media blitzkrieg. Dallas needs to avoid that and beat the Bucs. Go Boys!

How do you see it playing out?

This weeks key games.

We need to beat TB of course, and Detroit needs to beat NY. Those are really the only 2 games we are concerned with.

However, here are some other games that has an effect on things.
Now if we win, some of these games won't matter, unless one wants certain teams in or out of the playoffs. But some of the games over the next three weeks sets up some interesting possible dilemma's.

LA over Seattle, as I do not want Seattle getting a home game, unless it would be against NY or Washington. we just need to win, as this game has no bearing for us to get a bye or HFA, as we need to win the division to get one of those.
Chicago over GB, not sure on this one. Do you want a hot AR in the playoffs, or rather face NY or Washington again.
Indy - Minny, same, do you want to face the Vikings with AP or another team.
Arizona over N.O., I want Arizona pushing for a spot here to get in over NY or Washington, but it is a long shot.
Atlanta over SF, this is purely for Atlanta getting a home game over Seattle or another team, keeping Seattle, NY, Washington on the road.
Carolina over Washington, I really do not want them in the playoffs.

This is a huge game for us, YUGE! If we lose to Tampa, it will lead to a lot of questioning and could start playing games with the team's morale. A good win will get us back on track and focused for the playoffs.
The rest of the games, I really don't care much.

I actually want SEA to have home games if we get HFA throughout. An NFC Championship game with them traveling to Dallas I'd be pretty happy about. I don't really want to face WAS again in the playoffs, though I'd welcome the Giants. The Giants because I want another shot at them. The Sk*ns because I don't like having to beat a team three times. DET's another team I don't really love for us.

Either way, though, it's the playoffs. We need to be playing our best football the next three weeks. The NY game is going to end up being a watershed for us. We'll see which direction we go from it this week.

We won't lose to Tampa. Is it even a realistic possibility that the Giants win the division...? Kind of nervous about them..

I would love to see the Giants lose this weekend and we beat Tampa.

Not to be picky but the Bucs are at the Cowboys Sunday night.

Agree. Never mind the "we win the next two and then we can rest guys against Philly." It's one game at a time and every game will be a war...
