NFC Playoff Race

The Saints are an average team that has done it with smoke and mirrors ala Parcells' first year with the Cowboys. I think they miss the playoffs.

Very possible, but I would say that the Falcons have bigger problems than the Saints right now. I still think that the PANTHERS have some issues to sort out. They can't cover a lick, and Jake continues to throw picks. Had that been a decent team last night they would have been down 21-0 at teh half, and the Panthers finish AT Atlanta and AT NO. Should be settled after that.

Overall, none of the teams in the South impress me all that much I think all may finish around the 9-7/10-6 mark(Car and NO have the best shot IMO) Rught now I see the NFC finishing with
Chicago
Seattle
Dallas
New Orleans
New York
Philly

not necessarily in that order.

Interesting... you have the NFC East almost completely in the playoffs

Dallas - Division winners?
Giants - WC
Eagles - WC

other divisions no wild cards I guess?

yep. Philly beats Tennessee. Wsahington, Carolina and Atlanta while losiing to Indy, NYG, and Dallas IMO, finishes 9-7 and gets in on tiebreaker

The NFC will finish like this

1 Chicago
2 Dallas
3 New Orleans
4 Seattle
5 Philadelphia
6 Carolina

You have the NY Giants missing the playoffs? I don't see that happening. Right now they are the team to beat in the NFC East.
