Since this draws so much....attention...I thought I'd update this for all the fans including those special ones.

The Boys have a 41% chance at not making the playoffs pending the results of the rest of the games today and Monday.

So we're the second most likely NFC team to make the playoffs. I certainly didn't expect this after 5 weeks.

Read that 4-1 record gives you 77% percent chance to make playoffs.

That's a good historical figure of late. This computes the chances right now ie a 59% chance which at present is second best. Remember this changes dramatically with each win and loss early on. If you look at the chances for a team to make the playoffs after a 4-1 shot then your chances are roughly 80%.

These are the new playoff predictions after Monday's game. We now have a 61% chance of making the playoffs with a 29% chance of being the one or two seed.

I think the 77% number is just a direct number based on records and past teams that made it to the playoffs. Either in or out.
The chart takes into account the remaining strength of schedule, other factors, and so forth.

Yes, but I'm still thinking it does not take into account ties with all the tie-breaking rules.
