Saw somebody talking about how GB had an easier schedule than us, but were rated as having the toughest. Got me to checking the different teams each of the NFCE teams will face. I think it's favorable for us, especially compared to Philly.

Cowboys:
Seahawks & Lions

Eagles:
Vikings & Rams

Giants:
49ers & Bears

Commanders:
Cardinals & Packers

You never know. This time last year many though we had a horrible schedule going against the very tough AFC West. Turns out the AFC West was not very good. Right now our schedule looks a little better than the Eagles but you never know.

Thanks, good comparison. This is why I been saying for a few years or more. There really is not a difference between 1st place and last place schedules within a division. Only 2 team differences. Now how the schedule is laid out can make a difference sometimes. But not as often as we think it is.

I actually like the way our schedule is laid out this year. I do wish we could end the season with a home game, or 2 home games. And 3 go the last 5 at home for once. But not complaining about this year.

Some think we have a tough schedule, but I don't think it is all that tough, and teams do change from year to year.
We just need to take care of our own business and not be concerned what other teams do or who they play.

Oh I know it's way too early. Heck I don't even know how good we're going to be yet.

I do think we should beat both the Seahawks & Lions. Everybody else is probably looking to split their games, which puts us 1 game up already.

Washington got stuck with a really early bye week. The rest of us are right around the middle of the season, but they did give Philly their bye just before they play us.

True....

But in the next matchup the Eagles will have 6 days between games and the Cowboys will have 10....so it evens out.

Thanksgiving requires a few extra days for the big ugly's to recover.

Other than having a perennial contender (Pats) on your schedule, and/or a perennial doormat (Browns), trying to guage the upcoming season’s SOS based on how your opponents played LAST year is pretty much a waste of time.

Parity’s a b-witch.

Why especially us? IIRC we beat both those teams last years. One wasn’t even close and the other in their stadium without our MVP in the 4th quarter. I think we’re in better shape than you think.

You're missing 2 important games. The Cowboys, Giants and Commanders have to play the Eagles twice - the Eagles don't.

OK so that might nullify our 1 game advantage. Then again it might not, especially if we somehow sweep Philly. (obviously not placing any such bets).

The Eagles beat the Rams and Vikes last year. Guess I won't be surprised if they do it again.

If you sweep Philly, you're not going to be worried too much about schedule strength.
