Says that McNabb is still angry about being benched last year, and might skip a minicamp to show it. Says that in all the years McNabb has been there, he's always been in lockstep with Andy Reid. But not now.

Also says the Skins have shown zero interest in re-signing Jason Campbell, who is going into the final year of his contract. Says you have a coach on the hotseat and a QB who could be in his last year, too.

Also still thinks the Giants and Eagles are the best shots to load up and make a play for Anquan Boldin.

Just things to keep an eye on.

Crap. Can't the Gints and Eagles get weaker. Eagles will miss Dawkins but I bet they have someone capable already there.

We hates them.

Get over yourself McFlabb. You played like crap, you got served some pine. You came back from it nicely and had a nice deep run in the playoffs.

what im afriad of, if the eagles make a trade for gonzalez, te

thats what mcnabb needs a good decent TE

of course at the same time, best i remember the eagles lost trey thomas one of their OTs, and their other one hasnt signed yet either, so they might be weak on the offensive line

Gonzalez is at the end of the line. Bouldin has many years left. I'd much prefer they wind up with Gonzalez.

I REALLY don't want to see the Eagles end up with Boldin..only because how much the fans want him. There will be nothing greater than to see the Eagles FO not give in to Mcnabbs demands and do not get Boldin..which will result in Mcnabb being unhappy and possibly not there either.

Oh man..I would love that!!!! I hate Eagle fans with a passion!!!

McNabb is an unlikeable character, even in Philly. He's stupid, inconsistent and possesses one of those marbary-like senses of entitlement.

Gonzalez is still a top 5, maybe top 3 TE in the league.

Was a top 5 TE during his prime, not at his current age.

You're clearly making a statement based in a reality different from the one we inhabit.

lame duck qb and a head coach some players dont like can not be a good thing. Hopefully portis runs his mouth early and often this year.

So let me get this straight...

96 catches (#1 in the NFL) for 1058 yards (#1 in the NFL) and 10 TDs (#1 in the NFL) while playing with a few nobodies at QB is NOT a top 5 TE?

Witten and his 81 catches for 952 yards and 4 TDs with a probowl QB must be below average then.

I guess I was wrong actually, it looks like he's in the top 1 of the league. Top 3 and top 5 is an insult. My bad.

Jason Witten
Antonio Gates
Dallas Clark
Kellen Winslow
Chris Cooley
Todd Heap
Heath Miller
Jeremy Shockey
Ben Watson
Alge Crumpler
L. J. Smith

Tony G. Doesn't belong in the top 5?

The reality we're in is that he's 33 years old and likely at or near the end of his run as a premier player, while Bouldin is only 28 and likely has many years left in his prime.

It's obvious which would be preferable for the Eagles to get.

The reality I live in is the one where the Chiefs offered up Gonzalez to the Eagles for a 2nd rounder (according to news reports), and the Eagles laughed in their face.

Now why would the Eagles laugh in their face for wanting a 2nd rounder for a top 5/ top 3 TE???

Well the Chiefs offered up the "top 1" best TE in the enitre NFL to the Eagles for a 2nd round pick (according to media reports) and the Eagles responded by laughing in their face.

So the best TE in the NFL is not worth a late 2nd rounder???

I wish you were right but he's a very good QB. While he hasn't won a SB (thank God), he's been there and how many NFC CC games has he been to in the last ten years? And until this year he's not really had much in the WR department. He's won games himself. He seems a good guy who never gets into trouble. He does say things that don't serve him well at times but who doesn't in this day of media sensationalism where news is not reported but overblown. Same with Romo's comments about the importance of games after a loss.

Not to them. Altho their TE needs to develop his skills better. Gonzales is not worth a 2nd in today's market esp when he's going to be difficult with negotiating a new contract which is the most important part of this equation. You can't trade for players under contract without either assuming their contract or the player agreeing to renegotiate. I seriously doubt TG is going to take a serious paycut in the twilight of his career voluntarily.

Personally I'd take less as long as I could afford it to go to a team one game away from the SB.

prove it and make sure you have the laughing in their face part.
