The Move The Sticks podcast is identifying "Perfect Pairs" -- the ideal top two picks -- for each NFL team leading up to the 2017 NFL Draft, which will be held April 27-29 in Philadelphia. NFL.com analysts Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks will unveil a new set of picks each division in the weeks to come, continuing with the NFC East.

Dallas Cowboys

Perfect draft pair: Missouri DE Charles Harris (Round 1, pick 28); West Virginia DB Rasul Douglas (Round 2, pick 60)

Jeremiah on Harris: Charles Harris, to me, as an edge rusher, makes a lot of sense for this football team. Polished, great hands, he's ready to come in and make an impact right away. He can be a double-digit sack guy in Year 1.

Brooks on Douglas: Rasul Douglas is a nice, rangy ballhawk. He's a nice fit in this system. They play Cover 1 and a little man-free on early downs, but their bread and butter is to get into that Tampa 2 and allow their corners to read the quarterback. Douglas has outstanding hands -- some of the best hands in the draft, no matter what position.

unless we lost our 2nd rounder and Douglas is our 3rd round pick, then there is nothing perfect about this

Not bad, not perfect, I like the combination of Jabrill Peppers and Terrel Basham respectively at 28 and 60 somewhat better.

The Cowboys didn't bring in Jabrill for a visit. Their noted for official visits connected to the first round. thats a shame

Which is odd as hell... why not bring him in to take a look? Potential monster SS who can return punts... Peppers and J Smith would potentially bring a crazy amount of speed to the D....

I cant be the only one that sees way more risk than reward on Peppers. The reality is that they have to hit on their first two picks this year, I think even Jerry figured that out. If we knew what position he would actually play well, that would help.
