Historically yes.
I hear ya,
That is my concern,

But... We have turned some pages here.

Perhaps we turn "that page" too.

Home field can't forever be a disadvantage for us.

Yeah. I had to reply to my own post.

Was driving home around 11pm Friday night. Was listening to 101.9 sports radio I believe.

The show host had it good for Romo.

Playing interception sound bites from games past.

He proceeded to say that he is waiting for some Xmas presents. Presents being tony romo debacle stuff.
He continued on saying, he is willing to wait because eventually he will get them. The romo debacle sound bites. In other words... At some point the run will end BEFORE we win Lombardi and it will be romo ending it.

Come on man. Romo. Get it done!
Regular season MVP.
Super Bowl MVP.
Break some records while you are at it.

I think we take the division and will be the # 3 seed.........................Indy is apparently treating this game like a preseason game and is sitting anybody that is banged up. Hilton most likely out, Vontae Davis out, Reggie Wayne is either out or will be limited, and three offensive lineman are out.

Indy is basically locked into the # 3 seed and cant get a bye unless Denver or New England lose out (yea, like that is going to happen)..................so with nothing to play for, this is a "rest up" game for Indy.

Philly fans are already crying about Indy not giving "full effort"..................LMAO.................I tell them they should have taken care of business themselves, this is what happens when you rely on other teams to do the job you couldn't do yourself:laugh:

I'll take a weaker Indy, I'm not too proud! Boys still have to go out and play well to win.

Thanks they made it sound like we had to win both (which we should anyway) with no mention of the possibility of Philly losing.
It's only wishful thinking by the mediots. We are still in contention for a 1 or 2 seed and it's killing them. I am loving it, I can't wait to see Faulk's face after we win out.

When we play good teams and/or have an injured QB.
I don't buy the Home v. Road thing. It's always better to have the playoff games at home.

That was the reason a football "expert" picked Indy to beat us, the game was being played at AT&T. He said if the game was being played in Indy, he would pick the Cowboys.

It is this type of profoundly thoughtful analysis that makes me realize I'll never be good enough to be a football expert.

Yup I think it's just as likely Philly loses in NY as we lose to Indy. Maybe more likely.

Thanks I was thinking common opponents if it comes to that but you are correct.

If both GB and dallas end up 11-5 we could own the tiebreaker IF the game we lose to Indy . (It's an outer conference game) If we lose to Indy but beat Washington and , GB loses either one of their games were in over them.

That is true. They will certainly be distracted, having lost to the Commanders and watching us clinch the NFC East the week before.
