I don't have a problem with this list. But I'd put Brady at #1 and rogers at #2.

Wentz is about right at 19. Eli is probably the only one that is way off. Considering he has zero running game or offensive live.

But I hate Eli so I'm ok with it

Roethlsiberger is too high. He hasn't put up the pure numbers like Brees has or even Matt Ryan or Phillip Rivers. He can be mediocre for stretches and he is frequently injured. I think he's very good, particularly for what the Steelers used to do (great defense, run the ball and throw deep), but he's not the 3rd best QB in the NFL.

I like Russell Wilson a lot. The guy just wins games. If you need a big passing day from him, you'll get it. If you need a game where he helps with the run game, grinds it out...he'll give you that. If you need a tight, efficient game...he'll give you that. It will look ugly as sin...but he'll get you what you need.

I would put Matt Ryan ahead of Dak at this point. Especially if he continues to throw as accurately as he did last year. That's what was lacking from Ryan in previous years. But given his experience and track record, I'd put him ahead of Dak at this point.

I've never been a Phillip Rivers fan. Throws too many critical interceptions, doesn't show up for big games, doesn't make his players around him better. I would put Cam ahead of him.

I would put Cousins above Winston, Mariota, Stafford and Dalton. I think those guys could end up being better than Cousins, but at this point they haven't proven themselves and look at Stafford's W-L record against winning teams....about as bad as you could imagine.

Wentz shouldn't be ahead of Flacco or Eli at this point. He's proven nothing in this league other than he was a 2nd overall pick. While I wouldn't have a high degree of trust, but if I were facing a team like the Steelers or Patriots, I would have a lot more trust in Flacco or Eli than I would in Wentz. Hell, if we were playing the Dolphins I would have more confidence in Flacco or Eli than I would with Wentz.

K Cousins at 15, not so sure Dak should be so high so quickly. He has played well so far. I really think you need to earn a rating like this with some consistency. He will start earning this sunday night against the Giants.
Dak did earn it.

Speaking of consistency, those veteran QBs have consistently performed far below the level Dak performed at last season. Year after year after year. So if they've "earned" anything, it's a lower ranking.

I've never understood the hesitation to reward young players who have completely outplayed their veteran counterparts.

If there was a RB ranking, where would you place Zeke? Would he not crack your top 6?

In my mind it's more accurate than most in that it didn't have Wentz up super high. I actually think Wentz has a chance to be pretty good but he isn't there yet at least to the point he's been hyped.

Cousins is really disrespected around the league. His stats are great, he doesn't seem to choke in big situations. But he seems to get knocked down because his team doesn't and hasn't really won much. That's more the fault of the dysfunction of the Commanders than Cousins.

I think Cousins is the most underrated QB in the NFL right now.

That team is a dumpster fire. Cousins is smart though - keep taking the 1 year deals until a team with the right situation has an opening. His only places to get paid this past off-season would've been what, Chicago, Jacksonville, or San Francisco?

All of those teams are a disaster. He wants to get paid well for a good franchise, is my guess, and why shouldn't he - or anybody?

Hmm. This sounds very familiar for some reason...

Dak is on his way to becoming the face of the league. I still can't believe we got the best player in last year's draft with the 135th pick. That good fortune should be good for a Super Bowl or two.
