i'm sure if this is repeat there will be no shortage of people with the clever REPOST comment, but in the time warner / nfl thread, it's sock puppets, dude and who's sticking who (whom?) so i thought i'd post it here.

i'll tune in just to see how well they pull it off. i've got HDTV to fall back on. : )

From the NFL to you

If you don't have access to television's NFL Network or KDFI (Channel 27) for Thursday's Packers-Cowboys game, NFL.com is graciously offering a live studio show throughout the game. Included will be live "look-ins" of game action from Texas Stadium at :15 and :45 after each hour.

The web site is also promising live video when one team gets inside the opponent's 20-yard line.

Oh yes, NFL.com also plans to deliver live video of the entire halftime show.

apparantely on NFL.COM you'll see some of the game but mostly a special show around the game, cutting into it live during "scoring" opportunities.

sopcast, as i understand it, allows you to watch it all. www.sopcast.org

Thanks for answering and I use sopcast regularly to watch the games. I hope that tomorrow wont be the exception.

I am a comcast customer and I have the triple play deal, phone, internet, and cable. My bill is about $150 a month I do have HD, and HBO, Showtime and Starz, called comcast and said I wanted the NFL network, they told me for an additional $5 a month I could get the sports package or I could use the same $5 and get the sports package plus the remainder of the premium movie channels I don't already get so I did that. I am locked into comcast for another 18 months hopefully by then verizon gets FIOS in my neighborhood.
