3. RB Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys: Elliott should not only start immediately, but flourish as well, and his skills as a receiver and blocker will invigorate the offense.

48. DL Maliek Collins, Dallas Cowboys: He won't be on the field all the time, but DC Rod Marinelli will love Collins' ability to penetrate against single blocks and get after the quarterback from the interior.

69. DE Charles Tapper, Dallas Cowboys: Given Dallas' pending four-game suspensions at the position, Tapper inherits a great shot to start early, and don't be surprised if he entrenches himself.

Makes no sense to me either. I don't care how good he is, he won't make the impact Elliott should behind this line in this offense.

Not just that but he has two other guys in Puz and TSmith that are already beasts at LB for them...only so many tackles to go around.

One thing I will say, I don't think there's a team that's had a better offseason than Jacksonville. I think they will contend for that division and the playoffs this year.

I could not agree more. Already loaded on the off side of the ball they loaded up on the def side. Really good young team there with some high potential for greatness.

Finally, a couple of D-linemen with distinct possibilities for becoming impactful contributors. It's about time -- now, let's see where it takes us. Both of these rookies are well known to have exceptional athletic talent. Marinelli will be thrilled to have the opportunity to develop them.

Granted, it's somewhat rare for rookie defensive linemen to have an impact during their initial campaigns but these rooks should obviously have a legitimate chance to establish themselves, what with Lawrence and Gregory serving their four game suspensions. We'll see.

In this light, it doesn't look like nearly the bad draft that many people are making it out to be for the Cowboys.

I been thinking that since late last season. They could sneak up on people. And now with the off season and draft they had. I think they can make a big leap this year to push to win that division.
Actually, I would like to see them do it.
