Conservative communities take care of their own and therefore rely less on government provided services in contrast to liberal communities that insist on government providing everything from birth control to education

Pure fantasy and probably belongs in a non-draft or even football-related thread.

That which the government gives, the government can take away and therefore control your way of life. You must like being controlled. Social medicine, social engineering, social justice... no thank you.
I feel like you quoted me but weren't able to understand what I wrote.

It is almost quite literally true to say liberal communities subsidize conservative ones. What do you notice about the states that tend to be higher on this list?

This is not a trick.

I fully understand matters of scale when addressing cents on the dollar but once again you cherry pick your talking points rather than fully disclosing information. Once again, it's your fast and loose approach with the facts that hurts your argument. I will, in the interest of full disclosure provide a more complete depiction of the facts.

Cute infographic dump.

Let me cut through your diversion to address your (bolded) claim.

When you state "I understand you are talking about a difference of 16 cents. Is that the degree of pettiness you have to stoop to in find worthy counterpoint? That is thin pickings..." it's readily apparent YOU HAVE NO CLUE ABOUT SCALE.

If you really did, you would know that when scaled, multiplying $0.16 by billions of dollars produces a staggering number that can't be described as "petty," "thin pickings," or simply the "difference of 16 cents."

Try again to save face.

You can object all you want but the bottom line is Texas and California have found different ways to both be on the better half of the more efficient spenders of federal dollars.

You can try to dodge it all you want. You don't know the basics of scale and thought we were arguing over $0.16.

When compared to the other states, it's not a lot.

Nice try.

We're talking comparatively about Texas and California, not other states.

Here's a math problem for you...multiply $0.16 x $1,000,000,000 (*hint...that's $1 billion) and tell us what you get.
