NFL Coverage Maps - Week 2

Is this Shreveport? I'm going to forma couple of weekend at the Margaritaville, to see my daughter....and play a little blackjack. Just assumed they would show the games there..

my bad, just took a closer look at the map. Mary had me a turned around. Was gonna delete, but thought it may open another zoners eyes. I never even thought about checking. Just assumed everyone showed the Cowboys games!
Bold> It was a good assumption for my part of the state up-and-until the Saints won the NFC West early in the 90's. Jim Finks and Jim Mora were a solid general manager and head coach duo that put together the infamous Dome Patrol. Vaughn Johnson. Pat Swilling. Ricky Jackson. Sam Mills.

That defense put them on the map and they kept winning. So, the local folks wanted to be included with all that uprising of central and south Louisiana rah rah 'Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints! Who Dat? Who Dat' nonsense. They met with the Saints franchise and PRESTO! No more Cowboys games that were played at the same time (and same network) as Saints games.

Up-and-until then, everyone north of Alexandria (that is a city sitting smack dab in the middle of the state) had gotten Cowboys games exclusively. The entire area bled blue and silver just as much as the Shreveport area still does but no. They felt the need to provide coverage for all the masses of in-state viewers. who happened to just appear out of thin air within a short time period.

Truly vomit inducing. I'm gonna stop myself. This is not helping my GERD.

...I got Tenn/Miami, ....its all Jazz fault. ;).

Now, gotta hijack the system.

I know most here would never be able to do this but here's my set up. 6 years ago I cut cable and never bothered to put up an antenna. I'm a radio guy. So...

I find radio stations that are streaming the game-- even though they arent supposed to.
I listen to the Cowboys radio feed until Brad Sham makes his 37th mistake (usually mid 2nd quarter)
then I switch to the opponents radio team
or maybe the national feed if its a prime time game.
while listening, I am in game thread here and also reading game thread of opponent but never posting.
and i have espn gamecast in a window

and I take notes. If I hear or read something that seems like a big deal. I make a note Like: Q3 10 mins left. Rough passer ?
and I then go and review that stuff the next day so I can form my own opinion.
