Despite the negativity flying around Eagles' DeMarco Murray this week, the running back insisted Thursday he wants to remain in Philadelphia.

"100 percent. Yes," he said when asked if he wanted to be an Eagle in 2016, per NFL Media's Albert Breer.

Murray acknowledged the conversation between Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, which ESPN reportedtook place on the plane ride after the win over the New England Patriots, but said "that's a conversation between Jeff and myself." Murray brushed aside there was anything to the conversation, saying he often sits next to the owner: "I can't speak to my boss?"

The 27-year-old back, who inked a five-year, $40 million deal with Philadelphia in March, said he did not regret signing with Chip Kelly and the Eagles.

"Not at all. I'm committed to Chip and Jeff and the guys in this locker room," he said.

Well if he wants to be a 100% Eagle next year...post this in the NFL zone instead of the fan zone.

Yeah...I called you out.

Regardless if he wanted to be a cowboy "100 percent" again, I wouldn't want him.

He got exposed in philly. Blame the scheme all you want. Dude is walking borderline below average.

I couldn't disagree more. He was very good to excellent every year he played for the Cowboys. I don't care how badly he plays for the Eagles, he's not remotely below average IMO.

He made our system flourish from the rb position and I would take him back faster than you can say Tulious.

Oh wait... That's right.

"Anyone can run behind our oline."

He was decent, before last year.

He was never anything special. He just couldn't get out of his own way at times.

Considering both DMC and Murrays injury history before this line was complete, and their health there after, I will say, the line has definitely helped.

It's what happens during a miserable season like this one. But I get what you're saying. That ship has sailed. He made his bed.

I personally want the Cowboys to draft the next great RB.

Then you'll have a majority saying you "don't spend a 1st round" pick on a RB. If Murray is a free agent next year, which I doubt, I'd take him back in a heart beat and use that pick somewhere else.

It is more likely a lie when an answer or statement is embellished.

(Good honest answer)
Do you want to be an eagle next year?

YES!

(Bad lie)
