Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 1 Thread

Good teams do, no one pays heavy for a guard when its not the missing piece or a last piece.

People who like this pick think you need a HoF TE to win the SB and we couldnt with Witten.

Its not a good pick with this team. We are to far behind where a pick like this is needed to get us over the hump.

Its just a bad pick. End of Story.

we do it a lot.
Jerry said, "what are our top needs? ok, now lets pick the opposite of that".

The team that won the SB spanked the Chiefs is thought to have the best OL in football . I have no problem with a dominating linemen from one of the best programs in the country joining Dallas .
He’ll be ready to go if the FO puts stock in the QB position over the next 2-3 years.

LOL

OK Stephen.

Whi said thus?

hiw about Andy Reid...

"Give me a QB, 2 OT, 2 pass rushers, and 2 CBs. Ill figure the rest out"

but what does a 3x SB Champ HOF coach know. MattJames20WhoCares knows better

Maybe next year we'll pick a Long Snapper with our Top 5 pick. LOL

Well....that's what all the great GMs say: draft for need.

Wow.

Just wow.

The Chiefs/Reid suck.....because they only went to 5 SB and win 3 in the past 6 years or so.

I guess the Pats of the last 25 years don't know ow anything either. After all, they didn't win the SB last year.

Keep fluffing ur father Stephen. The results this century speak for themselves.... Jerry OBVIOUSLY know way more than Andy Reid LOL

"Your logic is stupid...duuuhhhhhhh"
Try to actually fire off some of our brain cells. Andy Reid didn't just "figure out" the offensive line. And because of that, his once MVP QB that everyone thought was the next Brady is now looking to be a top 12 QB because he doesn't have the time in the pocket to do what he used to do.

The idea here that you don't take a guard in the top 15 because "premium positions" despite you leaving out the context of the draft. I guarantee if you listed off guys in those premium positions, they'd be a bigger reach than what you're crying about now.

A big guard with below average athleticism. Carter is licking his chops ready to beat him with speed lol. I would be ok with selecting him in the 20s but man at 12. That's a tough pill to swallow.
Klayton Adams seems to have a different opinion.

I laugh at this reaction to Booker . I remember the the crying towels when Tyler Smith out of Tulsa was taken . The walls collapsed . Now we can’t get Jerry to give Tyler Smith his second contract soon enough .
