Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 1 Thread

Man this site is so slow you can’t even enjoy it. I can’t recall it ever being this bad. Wow! What a fail, like Netflix and the fight fail.

What scares me more than anything is Jerry Jones's belief that you don't need a top tier RB if you have a powerful O-line.

Sherman Williams didn't convince him otherwise. Neither did Joseph Randle.

I seriously doubt that Jerry even addresses the position until day #3. Despite a strong RB class for the second time in three years, Jerry is going to stick with the veteran free agents signed.

Will Booker even start this season? Will Jerry force the situation, overwhelming Booker while alienating the young backups who will now realize that contracts and draft status take priority over performance and experience?

Just because a player is drafted in the 1st round, that doesn't automatically make him a 1st round impact player. Which side needed the largest upgrade. the O-line or the defensive front 7.

Could you imagine Jihad Campbel or Mike Green or Kenneth Grant on the same defense as Micah?

PFF ranks Booker at #46, draftbuzz has him at #35.

Clearly, the worst pick in the 1st round this year.

This is like the Cowboys trade down but received no compensation whatsoever.

I like Booker but he is nowhere near the 12th best college football player.

Keep this up and the team will gain valuable experience drafting near the top every season.

And this was supposed to be the where the Cowboys displayed an advantage, drafting in the 1st round.

We are supposed to be terrified of the 2nd round and how badly the Cowboys will waste that pick. They have proven they are already in 2nd round form.

Some experts had a 3rd rd grade on Frederick. This board went full meltdown when that pick was made. Not saying I love the pick, but I understand it. I would rather they go overkill with the line than neglect it like they have in the past.
