"Where would Larry Allen be without....." Is this a serious question? Joe Thomas played for the Browns and is considered one of the best O-linemen ever. Greatness is greatness. Larry Allen was magnificent and would've been recognized as such in lesser circumstances, as he was later in his career.

It's a fair comparison. Allen was a good LT and all-pro, eventual HOF LG. Smith's career has started on a similar trajectory. If there is an adequate LT in place, why play Smith at T when he has the traits to become truly great at G? Like Allen, you play him at T if necessary, play him at G if at all possible.

See technically 90% of the players taken today are douchebags. Jason Dart looks like a mega douchebag. Sanders has his dad’s personality which is ok for a CB but maybe an issue for a QB.

I'm just saying what I've seen being reported on NFL Network from scouts. It would explain him plummetting like a rock. Along with the fact he sucks
