Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 2 thread

He's not, they just don't want Prime running around being the NFL version of Lavar Ball.
That’s a good comp. Though Deion has a college team to run while his kid is playing. He shouldn’t be that much of an issue during the season. Lavar was selling shoes and living through his kids during the season. I don’t even know what he did for a living.

NO
Martin to Booker is a downgrade
Dlaw to Dom EZ is a downgrade
Lewis to Revel is a downgrade
WE ARE FAR WORSE
When Martin was playing at a Hall-of-Fame level, Booker most likely would have been a downgrade. Surpassing last year's Martin won't take near as much. In fact, Hoffman did that.

Lawrence and Ez are far different players. We drafted Lawrence's replacement last year with Kneeland. Ez is a pass rusher.

Revel has a chance of being better than Lewis. Lewis was strictly a nickel corner, which is why he went in the third. Revel is a starting corner who fell because of injury. Some draft experts feel he would have been a first-round pick if healthy.

If we are worse than last year, it's because of what we didn't do in free agency at greater positions of need.

Quin Ewers should have transferred and played one more year. He would have made more money than he will in the NFL.

Honestly it's kinda making me mad how they are doing this kid.
Nothing will be more beneficial for his career than to be humbled and force daddy to step back. Being a day three pick means he can be cut at any point and that’s great for development. Either he assimilates and grows or he’ll get cut and be out of the league quick.

If we can score some points, other teams will need to throw. We have needs every where. I don't kiss azz, and I like this pick....if there was a run stopper rated as high as this kid, then yes....but I see it as great value. Especially if Dak is back and can put up points.
He is short, small and is limited to only pass rushing. Purely a situational pass rusher. Should have been a mid round pick.

Nice pick by Denver.....Sai'vion Jones LDE LSU. Unblockable @ the Sr Bowl.

If you think of him as a nickle DT as a speed pass rusher.....They could have hit gold. Was thinking maybe this could have been a guy we were looking @.

And the Vikings just got a steal in Tai Felton WR Maryland

He may be a Lewis replacement for '25, but I'll bet long term their plan is he's a Diggs' replacement at a fraction of the cost.
Probably. The injuries with Diggs plus the fact that his contract will be at a good cutting point and we have to decide whether to pay Bland likely means if Revel is good, we'll look to move on from Diggs.

Hopefully, Diggs gets healthy and comes back and plays well, though, if for no other reason than it might give him some trade value.

Right now, the question is if Revel can get healthy enough to contribute this year. We have Bland, but then it gets questionable fast with Elam, Carson, Pride and Hall, especially since Butler also may start the season on PUP.

I don't know. At this point it seems personal. Teams are avoiding him.
Yeah, he’s better than a few of the other QBs taken….this is actually crazy….like all the teams got together and said “nobody take him, teach him a lesson”…..which is a **** move by them…they punishing him because his dad, cuz it’s not because of his play. Would have though Tom Brady would have put in a good word for the Raiders, but apparently not.

Didn’t Broaddus say he made some calls and a couple guys said they just thought he wasn’t any good.

We dont know what the interviews went like. I’d say the takeaway had to be horrible for his fall to be this precipitous.
