Got to hand it to them. We all thought, there is no way to be worse at rb and DT than they were last year. Well Jerry said hold my scotch. Still plenty of talent available but it just bugs me to death that they are never proactive in free agency. Is it that hard to get a sold rotation defensive tackle that you identify? They never fill these wholes and then scramble when the get to camp and sign a guy like Jordan phillips

You'd be wrong why do people come in here and and talk trash with false information we are not worse first of all we have a new defensive staff a better defensive line coach we brought in Solomon Thomas we brought back Rogers you know big dude that we drafted he left he came back we also still have Mazzy which would make it the same that's not worse we resigned Osa to make sure he's here and I know that's not an improvement and then there are other guys on here and Joseph has already still around..

You think we're worse at running back how you're telling me that Sanders or Williams can't be better than Rico that's not who we're rolling with by the way i'm just saying today if a game started you're telling me if our offensive line was rolling which we have a new offensive line coats a new offensive coordinator a new coach that's going to bring the scheme and we're going to work through training camp and preseason to make sure this is better that they can't be equal to Rico are you serious maybe you don't know how this works if you give a running back a good enough offensive line which we did towards the end of the year help Rico that they can give you the same type of production so we're not worse we're not better now that needs to improve and we're still 5 months away from game one and all of you are responding as if the game started next Sunday that does not start Sunday it starts the 2nd week of September five months from now..

All the doom and gloom about the first 2 days of the draft still upset there are rumors and right now they're rumors but they have said it themselves they are going to look outside for a receiver and running back we are not worse in my opinion we have simply not got better I think all the moves they made so far have put us back in a situation it's healthy to be similar to the three straight 12 win seasons two division titles we just went through that it was the injuries last year it wasn't the lack of a run game it wasn't much of any one thing when you have 18 injuries and most of the key positions and players were decimated with injuries just like we saw with San Francisco it happens you can't function when you lose that many key players including your quarterback it happened in 2020 and what happened we bounced back and had three straight 12 win seasons...


You have to take into account if we can state relatively healthy and we have the rest of the draft and the rest of the offseason to finish filling in the holes that we will be better than next last year. We are going to improve from last year are we going to make a run in the playoffs with this team probably not but stop acting like toddlers people you are a throwing tantrums too soon this is not done..

If they bring back Amari Cooper or go after a guy like Keenan Allen or make a trade for George Pickens and then possibly bring over some one like Breeze Hall like if they don't get what they need to day or an undrafted free agent they already said they are going to make some moves and then we will find out what it looks like...

You mean the defensive line coach that's actually a proven defensive line coats that brought over Solomon Thomas that his scheme alone along with what's already on this roster and what's to come says we're probably going to at least be as good or improve on the defensive line same thing on the whole team this coaching staff has a plan they have a vision and all of your way too overreacting to what we haven't done yet and not liking what we have done not realizing it's 5 months away and they're not done I have more confidence in this coaching staff than I ever had before you can take out the head coach we don't need to talk about the head coach i'm just talking about overall you all need to calm down I want to see what this team looks like when training camp gets here not ota's not many camps but they're going to go after undrafted free agents and they're going to bring in some players by training camp then we can get a better picture...


Team may not look improved it may be only about as good as we were two years ago you know we went on that little Run you know two division titles 36 wins mean without the injuries the injuries decimated this team, I believe we can at least be back in a similar situation if we don't have the injury situation san Francisco went through it as good as their coaching staff is as good as their free agents are as good as their roster is deep their GM is better than ours they still had a bad year they were picking ahead of us by the way..

So I believe five months away they will find a way to put this back together enough where will be competitive again and at least get to the playoffs last year the number one thing that ruined our season was the 18 players that were injured for Parker all of the year or out for the year it was absolutely horrible... The 49ers went through it held The Mavericks went through it and the year after the Rangers won a WS, they went through it and didn't have a Good year either,

when you have a lot of injuries it's hard to overcome....

I get the reactions they've had a very safe but productive draft these guys can play and we had a very active offseason I like it it may not look great on paper but they're not done people I want to give this new coaching staff a chance to put their vision out there and accumulate the players they want between now and game 1...

I would be concerned if we were playing a game next Sunday but we're not...

Too late now......And here I was thinking day 3 was gonna be a little boring. Watching every pick before Shedeur gets to us.....Gonna be epic. I just don't see anyone picking him....Maybe the only threats being the Raiders @ picks 108, 143....but they have passed him 5 times already....And maybe the Jets...@110 and 145......and they have already passed him 3 times. The Eagles???? I don't know....But it sure seems like the entire league has conspired to not pick him...alot like Kaepernick

I know this is a long shot but my hope and my wish and I'm clenching my fingers together in that hope that they somehow package some of those lower picks and get back into the 4th round and target one of the running backs or wide receivers still there and yes there's some good ones trust me I mean I don't have my list right now but there's some dudes out there that can still play but it's excruciating sitting through the 4th round for the 2nd year and watching all those players left that have potential to be good we've gotten guys like Tony Pollard in the 4th round we got Prescott in the 4th round last year the Bucks got Bucky Irvin in the 4th round et c etc

So there are guys left that can fix this whole temperature of the fans being upset we haven't got any skill players yet they're here they're still there they're not the names you wanted but there's some big names down there that can help this team...

If they have plans and I get it they probably will bring Amari Cooper or Keenan Allen or they'll make a trade for a wide receiver and or running back but that doesn't mean you should pass up on a guy like Jayden Blue or Gittens from SMU these dudes got burst and speed that would be a nice addition to the ones that are on our roster right now and there's some wide receivers as well still there that can do some things...

If we're forced to stay in the 5th this is going to be a long afternoon, I'm going to the shooting range and hopefully I win something there there's a charity contest and I'm going to go blow off some steam literally pow pow pew pew i'll keep it up with the draft on my phone...

They may move a player to get a 4th round pick. You know, Stephen said a substantial trade.
Since they drafted Booker, maybe Hoffman, Richards or Bass, along with a late round draft pick will get it done.

DT and Safety are probably our worst positions on defense though especially if we need to stop the run. I am hoping Mazi Smith and/or Justin Rogers can provide some assistance there. They are both 6'2/6'3 and over 330lbs.

We may also have question marks at linebacker with Overshown coming off another bad injury but we did pick up some guys in FA.

1 Tech is bad.

Safety will improve under Eberflus scheme. Hooker will be better up top with Eberflus scheme and Wilson closer to the LOS.

Bell and Thomas are solid depth.

I would focus all my attention today on four positions: WR, DT, RB, LB. Take as many shots as possible at those spots and hope you hit. Then do the same with the UDFAs.
