Drafted by Cowboys NFL Draft: Day 3 thread

Yeah…Williams and Sanders are in the midst of failing. Thinking we can’t do better, even with a 5th, is crazy.

But it is still borderline malpractice this franchise hasn’t drafted a RB or WR in the top 4 rounds in 3 straight drafts
It is. I like Williams, but right now, he's a 3.7 RB who should be used as a rotational piece at best. Sadly, right now, it looks like he's the starter unless we get lucky ... that's if we even draft an RB.

I want Sanders at this point
Mentioned this at the start of the day on the draft board, I would take him here as an investment. Either he become Dak's air apparent or showcase him for a future trade. Really on day 3, no real risk.

Cleveland loading up on RBs. I wonder if Nick Chubb (free agent) would be interested in an incentive laden, low guarantee contract. He is now more than a year beyond his devastating knee injury so maybe has some juice back. Can't given him a big deal but something that won't cost you much would be fine by me...

The issue with trading for Mingo is not Mingo. It is giving up a 4th round pick for Mingo after taking a 5th round pick for Cooper after giving up a 1st round pick for Cooper. They should have offered a 6th for Mingo and held their ground.

Malachi Moore and Quincy Riley are very quality picks at this point in the draft. Hypolitte might be the first guy taken that should have been a UDFA.

He is the player I'd put the full-court press on for. He may be finished, but isn't any worse that what we've already got. Even if I draft an RB or two, I'd bring him in. The reward could be great.
