....make a phone call and ask what Detroit wants for RB Deandre Swift???? This from Rotoworld:

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Lions have received calls from teams interested in acquiring D'Andre Swift.

Swift's representation has been in touch with the Lions about dealing the fourth-year back after Detroit shockingly took RB Jahmyr Gibbs with the sixth pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Gibbs' pass-catching acumen would seem to overlap with Swift's strengths as a receiver out of the backfield. Over 40 NFL games in three season, Swift has averaged 30 receiving yards on four receptions per game. He would be a valuable change-of-pace backfield option for teams lacking a pass-catching specialist. It seems unlikely Swift will remain in Detroit for very long.

In 3 seasons Swift has amassed the following stats:

364 attempts 1,680 yards 4.6 ypc 18 td's 156 receptions 1,198 yards 7.7 ypc 7 td's

He has 1-year remaining on his 2nd round rookie deal with a 2023 base salary of $1.7M

With Pollard still recovering from injury would this be a viable trade option depending on the asking price????

We should be one of those teams calling.

I live in Michigan so I get all the LIons games...Swift is soft and doesn't get the tough yards, which is why they're gonna ship him out tonight. DO NOT WANT. Much better off drafting a back in the 3rd round IMO

Agree, saw most of there games this year (fire stick and brother and law being a fan), would rather have the UCLA kid. Hard Pass for me!

In honor of day two, I present you the best kicker to EVER where a Cowboys Uni.

We've heard the Jones's mention that MM wanted to get bigger in the trenches about 10 times now and they did just that on the D-Line. My best guess is IOL tonight followed by nothing but skill positions. I'll guess Avila. I know it would be a long drop but I think both Torrence and Schmitz go in front of him so there's a chance.
