The patriots read the draft. You can't tell me Micah Parsons was our first choice at 10. We traded back b/c the 2 CBs were gone.

Sure. When the two CBs went, we likely were left with our third option which was Parsons.

And we were able to add another pretty valuable pick and still end with Parsons. Given how the draft fell (the CBs off the board), anyone complaining is being foolish.

Yeah, that's largely the draft works. Unless you are picking 1st, you have to choose from whatever is left. That's not a reason to spend extra picks just to move up. Last time that happened, Dallas took a "can't miss" CB and he was absolutely awful.
