Demaryius Thomas-WR- Player Apr. 18 - 12:07 pm et

Georgia Tech WR Demaryius Thomas (foot) is reportedly working out for Rams scouts on Sunday.

It appears Thomas will not hold a Pro Day-style workout as originally reported by ESPN's Chris Mortensen, but that he is healthy enough to go through drills. Thomas, who broke his foot before the Combine, may be on St. Louis' radar with the No. 33 overall pick should he fall out of the first round.

Tim Tebow-QB- Player Apr. 18 - 11:16 am et

There is "virtually no chance" that the Vikings will draft Tim Tebow with the 30th overall pick, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Pro Football Weekly apparently "mocked" Tebow to the Vikings in its latest projections. The Vikings seem certain to draft a QB at some point next weekend, but the Pioneer Press considers cornerback a likelier target at 30.

Jared Odrick-DL- Player Apr. 18 - 11:06 am et

Sources tell the NY Daily News that the Jets are targeting the defensive front seven with their first-round pick.

The Jets will reportedly either draft a "wide body" for the defensive line or a pass rusher to make the fan base forget first-round bust Vernon Gholston. Penn State's Jared Odrick would fill an obvious need at 3-4 end, while Sergio Kindle and Jerry Hughes are named as rush linebacker possibilities.

Tyson Alualu-DL- Player Apr. 18 - 10:51 am et

California DT Tyson Alualu's 1.70-second 10-yard split in the forty-yard dash was the best among top interior defensive linemen at the Combine.

Alualu, Cal's leader in tackles for loss last season, is a high-motor player with ideal burst. For perspective on his ten-yard split, Texas' Sergio Kindle (at 6'3/250 to Alualu's 6'2/295), was timed in the same range. Versatile enough to play end in a 3-4 or tackle in a 4-3, Alualu's stock is on the rise.

Kareem Jackson-DB- Player Apr. 18 - 10:10 am et

Ravens director of player personnel Eric DeCosta acknowledged that Alabama CB Kareem Jackson has been on the rise this offseason.

"Kareem is a guy that I think a lot of people didn't think would run very well," DeCosta said. "But he ran in the low 4.4s. He's a great technician. (Crimson Tide coach) Nick Saban is a great defensive backs coach and really puts a lot of stress on his DBs to play a lot of different coverages, a lot of pro-style coverages. (Jackson) also tackles extremely well."

Sean Weatherspoon-LB- Player Apr. 18 - 9:59 am et

Missouri LB Sean Weatherspoon says the Falcons have shown more interest in him than any team leading into the draft.

"I get a really good vibe from the Falcons," he said. "They have shown the most interest in me." Weatherspoon says the Broncos and Saints are also considering him. New Orleans could bite on the weak-side linebacker if he falls to No. 32 overall. The Broncos probably wouldn't take him at No. 11.

Osi Umenyiora-DL- Giants Apr. 18 - 9:44 am et

The Giants will reportedly be willing to shop Osi Umenyiora on draft day if they select Jason Pierre-Paul with the 15th overall pick.

Umenyiora "can be had for the right price," according to Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post. Though Umenyiora is coming off a poor season, he is due manageable money over the life of his contract and could probably use a change of scenery. He may also be available for as little as a mid-round pick.

Charles Brown-T- Player Apr. 18 - 9:38 am et

USC LT Charles Brown is reportedly "a hot commodity right now," and could be drafted in the top 15.

The most obvious landing spot in the top-15 picks would be in Seattle, where left tackle help is sorely needed. Brown, of course, was Pete Carroll's starting left tackle for two years at USC. Carroll might "reach" for Brown at No. 14 overall if the Seahawks draft an Eric Berry or C.J. Spiller at No. 6.

Jimmy Clausen-QB- Player Apr. 18 - 9:32 am et

According to Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post, the Browns will not select Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen at No. 7 overall.

Terry Pluto, a columnist/reporter, and Tony Grossi, a beat reporter, both cover the Browns for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and expect them to pass on Clausen at No. 7 overall. "The reality...is that Cleveland won’t pick Clausen," writes Lombardi. "They’re going to draft defense with their first pick."

Russell Okung-T- Player Apr. 18 - 9:28 am et

Mike Lombardi of the National Football Post predicts that the Lions will draft Oklahoma State LT Russell Okung with the No. 2 overall pick if they acquire Albert Haynesworth from the Commanders.

If they can't get Haynesworth, Lombardi says the pick will be Ndamukong Suh. Lombardi gives Detroit a "20%" chance of acquiring Haynesworth. It's unclear what compensation the Commanders are asking for, but we strongly suspect that Detroit's pick at No. 34 overall would be more than enough.

Bryan Bulaga-T- Player Apr. 18 - 9:15 am et

Some NFL personnel evaluators reportedly believe that Iowa OT Bryan Bulaga is the most overrated prospect in this year's draft.

"It'll shock you when I say this, but I know some people have him graded out as a third-round pick," said one personnel man. "A lot of pass rushers beat him badly last year. And if you watch that film, and add in that his arms are shorter than you'd like a tackle to have, how high can you take him? I know he's well-coached...(but) he's falling a bit in some people's eyes."

Jason Pierre-Paul-DL- Player Apr. 18 - 9:13 am et

According to SI.com's Don Banks, the Titans "covet" South Florida DE Jason Pierre-Paul.

Banks says Tennessee sees some Jevon Kearse in JPP, and is also high on Michigan's Brandon Graham. The Titans seem likely to target a defensive end at No. 16, with a corner like Boise State's Kyle Wilson as a possible fall-back.

Devin McCourty-DB- Player Apr. 18 - 8:53 am et

Browns beat writer Tony Grossi has "heard" that the Browns like Rutgers CB Devin McCourty better than Florida CB Joe Haden.

If this isn't pre-draft misinformation, we've gotta believe the Browns are the only team in the league with a higher grade on McCourty. McCourty does have slightly better size, but Haden made more plays in college against far superior competition and is considered a more consistent cover corner.

Colt McCoy-QB- Player Apr. 18 - 8:46 am et

Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer predicts that the Browns will "make a move" to acquire Colt McCoy at the top of round two or perhaps even at the back end of the first round.

Pluto is holding firm to his belief that Cleveland will draft a defensive back at No. 7, and get its quarterback of the future thereafter. Of Browns president Mike Holmgren, Pluto writes, "This guy loves quarterbacks...When Holmgren said the Browns may not even draft a quarterback, I nearly gagged."

Brandon Marshall-WR- Dolphins Apr. 18 - 8:23 am et

The Jets reportedly had their first-round pick (No. 29 overall) on the table for Brandon Marshall during the NFL owners' meetings in March.

Fortunately for the Jets, GM Mike Tannenbaum was unable to agree with Marshall on a long-term contract. It all worked out in the end when they stole Santonio Holmes for a fifth-round pick and zero financial commitment.

Rob Gronkowski-TE- Player Apr. 18 - 8:19 am et

Drew Rosenhaus, the agent for Arizona TE Rob Gronkowski, denies reports that his client suffers from spinal stenosis.

Mike Mayock originally broke the stenosis story on NFL Network, and rumors have circulated elsewhere that Gronkowski's been "red flagged" by several teams. "Every team I have talked to says there are no concerns about his back," said Rosenhaus. "He passed his physical at the combine. There are no red flags. He is ready to go. The back is not a factor. There's no issue."

Says the professional liar.

I wouldn't draft Gronk for the back issue alone, having Drew Rosenhaus as an agent would simply make me enjoy doing it.

I don't think it's out of the question that Dallas trades back with the Browns if they don't like anyone at 27. The teams have a history of trading with each other and the Browns have quite a few picks still in the draft.

Browns, Bills and Jags all seem to have a QB targeted and might have to move up from their 2nd to get him.

I still think anybody that takes Tebow in the first couple of rounds are just nuts.

But but but...CZ experts said he'd be a massive reach at 27 and a wasted pick.

I think Alualu could be the darkhorse pick for us, esp with a trade down. Brian B. has also put his name out there along with Spags indicating that Cowboys may go DL early.

I'd love to land Tyson Alualu, he's one of my favorite players this year.

Me too. Though I am torn with a top CB vs. Alualu early on. I'd love to get both.

Al Davis is supposedly interested in the second. Case in point.

Yep, but Campbell probably falling like a stone, so maybe somebody offers the Cowboys alot for him at 27.

Both would be great.

If forced to choose, I'd go with a big 'un.

Give me T-Lu.

I can see that too.

If there's nobody they love there, I can see a trade down into the high second round.

I could live with a Vlad Ducasse/Nate Allen second round.
