I have some problems with the list, like McCoy and Tebow listed top15. On the other hand Cody at 35?

:muttley:

Outside of a couple of seniors that I like it's rather weak. Especially if we consider the players that's been coming out of first round these past couple of years.

I believe McCoy will be the best NFL QB out of the Locker, Clausen, Tebow, etc; lot.

And I really believe only Locker has real upside. The rest of those guys all have massive holes in their game. Locker at least has size and arm strength to go along with athletic ability, plus he's worked with an exceptional offensive coach this yr. It might take some NFL team several yrs to fully develop Locker, but the other guys are never going to develop IMO.

I personally think that's too low, but only by 10 spots, maybe 15... I certainly wouldn't have him in the top 20 prospects...

Why not, you ask?? Well, two reasons-- first, there's his unfortunate rep for not being able to control his weight (lots of big "name" DTs have eaten themselves out of the league in recent years after being drafted in the first round), and his 40 times...

With his size, and lack of speed, Cody can do one thing only, and that's clog up the middle... that is a big part of being an NFL NT, but if that's all you can do, you're not gonna be drafted real high...

All in all, though, I think the ratings here are fairly good... throw in 15-20 underclassmen going in the top 50 picks, and it looks about right to me...

Uhhhh, no...

I'm a big fan of Iupati, and think he'll be a good solid pro, but it's silly to equate him with Larry Allen... Larry was stronger than Mike (though Mike is very strong), and significantly quicker (though there's nothing wrong with Mike's quickness)...

It's entirely possible that neither you nor I will ever see another Larry Allen in our lifetimes...

If only we could draft Ndamukong Suh, one can dream.
Imagine a Suh, Ratliff, and Olshansky DL?
Rotate Suh and Ratt as DT and sprinkle Spears on rushing downs.

Suh and Ratt on passing downs would be sweet.
