The draft grades on QBs is a lot lower in this draft. What are the chances that the teams who draft QBs this year end up pissing off their picks, setting their franchises back several years and continue to need a starting caliber QB after they take one out of this draft?

I smell a lot of reaches and busts out of this QB class. It will make us appreciate Dak that much more.

I would say pretty good odds almost any team that drafts a 1 round QB wont get the value they are expecting. I really dont see any sure thing QBs and I wonder if any will amount to a decent starter ala a Matt Ryan or Phillip Rivers type QB. Both not bad QBs but not really what you want out of a first round pick.

Yeah, based on the rumor mill none of this draft class are expected to be on par with either of those players.

I'm in the minority but I think that Watson will be a really good starting QB

He has the tools, the intelligence and the work ethic

I don't know about that. I think he has the physical traits to win, but maybe not the ball security you need in the NFL.

Dumbest decision involving the draft eligible QBs?

Kizer going to Philly for the draft. He's going to endure the painful, long, embarrassing wait in the green room. I can't believe his agent is allowing him to do that.

Between that and his recent comments, he doesn't seem like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

He's actually said to be a very bright kid. Graduated in 3 years from ND, and if you listened to Gruden and John Lynch, he was a wunderkind at the blackboard and understanding football concepts, etc.

Seems the kid's issue is his ego. It might need some checking. He's going to get it Thursday night.

I think that of the "top rated" QBs, Deshaun Watson has the best chance for success - most starting experience, played at a high level, was the best player on the field in the NC game. He also has leadership and intangibles that are off the chart.

That being said, it would not at all surprise me if Nathan Peterman ends up as the best QB in this class.

Yeah. Its not likey're terrible. You may get 5-6 long term NFL QBs in rhis group.
But to be picked in the top half of the 1st you really need to be a very starter.

Other than Luck and maybe Cam, you can pretty much make this claim for all QBs taken in the upper 1st round the last 7-8 years.
