The release of photos from the Greg Hardy case placed a grim cloud over Sunday's Cowboys-Eagles game. So much so that even the announcers were having a difficult time putting everything into its proper perspective.

I'd say the Friday reports on Hardy was a mission accomplished.

He was hustling, at least on the plays I was paying attention to him. I remember one play specifically where Matthews or Murray got the edge(what's new?) and I saw him sprinting behind them even though no way he could catch up. Mentally though, he did not seem all there. I noticed in pregame, he just looked different and not as intense as he has in a few weeks, I am sure the names he has been called the past couple days would get to anyone. Even a Hardy that was clearly off his game mentally was our best DL by quite a margin.

He definitely looked tired. Largely ineffective just like the rest of the squad

im not laying blame on one player, to me, target the coaches now. Yes some players need to be replaced, but the coaches have got to make something work. Church still taking bad angles? Guys on both lines still making stupid penalties. Players gassed.

I wish the Eagles would just shutup. That franchise has such a notorious history of players that love to talk. The expectations that team had before this season started and where they are at right now should tell these players to just shutup. Hardy also did register a sack in the game as well so they didn't do their jobs well enough to keep him from getting to their qb.

I noticed the same.

Now that we're not going to the playoffs, hope the Eagles aren't either. They talk too much. I don't like the Giants either because they talk too much too. But the Commanders are in no position to take the division and, if they do, they'll have to beat us twice. :(

I wouldnt care if eagles made it, its just going to crush their fans going one and done.

Collinsworth and nbc were not uncomfortable calling Ravens games with Ray Lewis, or Steelers with Ben.

To their credit, the attention on Lewis and Roethlisberger (or Peterson), are not the same. And it's one of those things where the audience is now demanding that NBC address it while the other half of the audience doesn't want to deal with it. Puts them in an awkward situation.

Collinsworth and Michaels are not the bad guys in this by saying that it's an uncomfortable situation. The bad guys in this are the media and the frenzy they have created by sensationalizing the story, leaving out key facts and creating an environment where if somebody even asks questions about the case using the principle of innocent until proven guilty...they are now labeled as a supporter of woman beating.

Those are the bad guys.

What the media doesn't say is these are " allegations" that a court has in the end decided to expunge from the record. Let any of these sportscasters / media writers be subjected to the same scrutiny/sensationalism, and threat to their livelihood and the cry would be " enough". I for one am tired of my " entertainment" being
the rally point for a cry for " social justice" when the person has exonerated.

Lol at the Eagles barely beating a Matt cassel lead team and after the game they are talking **** like they just beat the pats to win the Super Bowl. Classic Eagles.

they won, we had every opp and chose not to, cant blame winners for winning. and they did it with Bradford.

Yea. I wish we could beat a scrub team and then talk smack about it afterwards. It beats this.

Well we have before and usual to don't run the media puffing our chest about how we did a great job. Please stop with the high and might bs about you wish we beat some scrub team. WE HAVE! plenty of times.
