Come on man.. you can be a fan no matter where you live! I grew up in Florida, went to college in Massachusetts and lived in Cali for 30 years. I will say that the desire to be able to see every game and attend more games in person weighed heavily on my decision to move here when I finally escaped from California!

I promised myself that I would NOT pay the full price for the Sunday ticket again. On average, you only need it watch 4-5 Cowboy games a season.

Last year I did a combo of Xfinity second tier subscription and NFL+ which was okay but I really dislike navigating Xfinity, especially the recordings, it's like driving drunk with a loose steering wheel. Dishnet was a 1000x better but before going back might try YouTubeTV instead.

I don't spend anything on the NFL that I wouldn't normally spend if the NFL didn't exist. Normally two games a year aren't televised in my area. Usually crap games like against Carolina or Atlanta. That number might go up depending on what network carries the games.

Back in the early 90s I did the same thing. Minus the lemon water. I drank something more typical for a bar setting than a beauty salon, but if you like it, that's all that matters.

This would never happen today, but I had to go to a bar to watch most of the regular season games between the 49ers and Cowboys back in the early 90s. Two titans that met in the last two championship games, and it's not nationally televised. That wasn't the only game.

I've had the same service for a couple years now. For roughly $80/year I can get all the games, along with pretty much every other channel in the world, and PPV events.

I know I haven't them all. For example, from 85 to 89 I missed most of the games - The Marine Corps doesn't care if you want Sundays off during football season.

Most people wish they missed most of the Cowboys games between that time period.

You don't need YouTubeTV unless you're in an area that doesn't get an antenna signal. If you are near a metro area, that knocks out $563.88. YouTubeTV *is* airing one game exclusively, but they're making it available for free on YouTube.

Also, if you can't get an antenna signal, the easier way is to sign up for Hulu Live, which comes with ESPN+ and Disney+. That way you don't pay a separate fee for the games. And, if you have Hulu Live, and you can't pick up TV with an antenna, you'll get all of your locally-broadcast games. Hulu Live is about the same price as YouTubeTV.

ALSO, if you sign up for YouTubeTV or Hulu Live, you don't need ESPN+ at all, because both of those services include ESPN.

ALSO, the price quoted for Amazon Prime Video is wrong. There's a TV-only plan that's $8.99 per month. If you get that for September through January, it costs around $45.

ALSO, you can get a free trial of Peacock and/or Netflix that could cover their games.

Yep I’m right on the border of the Philly/NY market but Im technically in that of NY by a few miles.

I looked at it quickly, but the only questions I saw are weeks 7/8/16. They may even find their way on, depending.

Thing is, if I go to a bar for three games, the package is actually cheaper than what I’d spend, plus all the other games. They discount it by mid season so I’ll probably just do that again.

Mind you that missing a game isn’t an option. It’s going on 35 years and while some around here have me beat, I’m still proud of it.
