Well, they've had a week to find out what the guy did after he got the balls from the ref. I'm not sure why the league is saying it is going to take weeks to conclude the investigation, unless he lawyered up and won't talk to them.

ETA - Or, of course, if he had nothing to tell them.

Or they don't want to reveal their findings until post SB.

Yeah, it wouldn't do for the NFL to announce the Patriots had cheated their way to the Super Bowl before they play the game. :)

In any case, I listened to Jay Glazer, the source for the latest scoop on the ball boy, and he said specifically the guy who picked them up stopped off at "an area" on the way, and he didn't know if it was a bathroom, a storage area, or what.

They want you and the world to think they are actually conducting an "investigation" and they are interviewing Brady and all due process is conducted….The whole story is already written ..they toss this "person of interest" thing out to see the reaction and adjust the story accordingly….expect new things to be thrown at us for them to tighten the story before the so-called "investigation" results are revealed…..

Man..what a corrupt organization the NFL is…..

To be honest this is a revelation of the problem with American Pro sports specifically the major leagues NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL….It's a group of billionaires who established a company where they play their own version of fantasy "sport" and sell it to the masses..there is no actual independent association of the sport separate from the clubs like the U.S. Olympic Committee or the U.S. Soccer Association that is powerful enough to govern the game to all parties and treat them as equals…..We will keep watching and spending the time and money because we love the sport but it is a corrupt system

What is this other room?

Bathroom? Maybe he has a superstitious pigskin fetish and wanted to apply a little extra rubbing to each ball.

Seriously though, if they know where the refs locker is why can't they identify where he took the balls or even say how long he was in there?

He took the balls into a secret room behind the bookshelf and was never seen again. The other person to go in or out after locker guy was a man dressed in a batman costume. Authorities unsure if they are the same person.

BTW, in racing you need to change tire pressures really quickly during testing sessions- there are bleed valves that enable you to drop a few pounds in a second or 2. When using common air, it was always more polite to over inflate and bleed down later - so we used the same gauges for that purpose as well.

There is talk that the "locker room assistant" couldn't have bled 2lbs out of 11 balls in 90 seconds in his private bathroom with a locked door. Total bunk.
