Football is important but not as important as the kids. This heat is nothing to mess with.

It’s great to have football back.

My son just started football practice. It’s his first year playing. I have that Monday through Thursday from 6-8. Then I get to come home tonight and watch an NFL preseason game.

Opening weekend for college will be here before ya know it.

Life is good.

This is a thread meant for discussing the upcoming game tonight between the New York Jets and the Cleveland Browns in Canton. Yes, NFL Football is back. I know it's preseason, but it's been a long offseason. So, I figured I'd make this thread to discuss the return of NFL Football.

All the people saying they are not going to watch will be glued to the their TVs at game time. I promise you that.

Not sure why some think it's cool to say you won't be doing something that you 100% will be doing.

Yeah like all the ones that say they don’t care about PS games or TC, or say wake them up when it’s the regular season.
But yet here they are chiming in on things every day. Especially the ones with the negative tones.

I am ready for the ceremonies...glad to see Howley and Ware finally get in. Hope next year Woodson finally gets in. As for the game it's just good to have something resembling football to look at.

Yup, and it's funny because they might not get a chance to see the team developing in TC. A lot of those as the season goes on are behind the 8 ball when we need our depth player as they didn't get to see their play in preseason.

I did hell week in 105+ temps. Some days over 110. That was in 1986. Nobody died. Nobody even went to the hospital or had any heat emergencies.

I will watch the 1st quarter or so, or 1st half. I doubt I will watch any more that that. Maybe tune in now and then. Depending the boredom factor.

I'll watch every down and probably watch it again tomorrow. I love breaking down film
