NFL has Dallas Cowboys among lowest projected win totals across NFC teams

Their may be pockets within the various bets where people make money but I would guarantee if you couple all five of those together that vegas comes out on top.

I think 7 to 8 wins feels about right with the combo of new coaches, new scheme, difficult schedule and a few more big question marks on players and positions. That being said there will be more than enough bets going both ways to cover and then they will make all the bets on the playoffs and above when those don't happen to come out on top.

Not trying to be Debbie downer on the Cowboys but realistically the betting is set up for Vegas to win and I'd sure bet on the house
Yeah there’s a lot of “ifs” that have to happen for the Cowboys to beat the odds. My father bet a lot on NFL games. Not much money but just for the fun of it. He said whenever he bet on the Cowboys he would bet the other team because so many Cowboys fans betting altered the odds.

The lines are set to generate action. No bets equals no profit. As the money is wagered the books simply change to lines/odds to insure profit. The books are not experts predicting sports results. They are experts at making money from wagering on sports…of all kinds.

Think before posting(TBP). They drafted the best pass rusher in the draft and will get back 3 or 4 starters on defense. They also improved their depth with some FA signings.
....Dak is healthy again. Whole new RB committee. Drafted some beef on OL and DL. Added top 5 receiver, next to Lamb.

Yep, ... I got Dallas in double digit win column.

The FA signings were a bunch of rejects and their interior is TBP (Terrible Ball Players).

Its almost like Vegas knows we are gonna crash and burn. It's almost like they don't read DC.com and its articles on how DC outsmarted the league with the Shotty hire. It's almost like they view him as the next Campo hire that we all felt at first.

It's so weird.

I really have no idea how this season will go, but I do find it funny that even the media is widely split on how the Cowboys will likely do this season with some suggesting they have a shot to have a great season and others saying they will be lucky to win very many games.
On paper, the Cowboys are dangerous. They had a bad year with injuries last year which made them look worse than they were.

They went 3-5 to start the season, which wasn't good. But they kept fighting as a team and even the backups showed they weren't push overs. That's why I know that last year was really year 1 of the so-called soft rebuild. This year they are actually closer to going all in. But they have the cap space to take it even further.

The Cowboys now have weapons on offense and defense.

Now they just need to put it together. This is a very talented team. And fans from across the league know it.

Win Total: under 7.5 (+110)

Make Playoffs: +190

Win Division: +700

Win Conference: +2800

Win Super Bowl: +5500

Here’s the Cowboys’ toughest three-game stretch: In Week 12, they host the Eagles, welcome the Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day in Week 13 and then head to Detroit for a Thursday Night Football clash in Week 14. It’s important to remember that if Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons, who each missed time in 2024, are available all season, Dallas’ ceiling increases, especially if rookie right guard Tyler Booker is able to get acclimated. The first-round pick had the highest floor and was my highest-rated lineman at his position in this year’s draft.

Good. Let’s them underestimate the Cowboys.
I don't think it's an underestimation. I think you're overestimating. Dak is still going to Dak things up. The D is still not fixed. And the coach is unproven. The best I see them do is .500.

If we stay healthy, the second and third year guys improve, and rookies play well then we could be a solid team. I wouldn’t bet on a SB but if those things happen we should have a 10-12 win season

Well, I just bet my life's savings, my house, and all my children's college funds on the Cowboys winning the Super Bowl.

I also took out a loan from a local businessman, "Ice-pick" Tony. I threw that cash in there as well.

......this is going to be great! Wish me luck.

Our run defense is scary...
To the cowboys fans, not the opposition, lol

I’ve already bet a lot on the over 7.5. I am holding off to see about injuries right before the see and will bet a lot more if it stays there. It’s creeping up because it’s now -140. I’m keeping an eye on the +190 to make the playoffs also. I wouldn’t bet it at all-110, but at -110, but at +190, with health I’ll put a little on it.

I’ve already bet a lot on the over 7.5. Some when it first came out and then a bigger bet the second we traded for Pickens. I am holding off to see about injuries right before the season starts and will bet a lot more if it stays there and health is our friend. It’s creeping up because it’s now -140. I’m keeping an eye on the +190 to make the playoffs also. I wouldn’t bet it at -110, but at +190, with health I’ll put Some money on it.

I am just wanting a legitimate trash can full of dirt on the defensive line to come through dependable. Something dependable in the middle of the defensive line.
