NFL has Dallas Cowboys among lowest projected win totals across NFC teams

Well, the good news is the Eagles and Chiefs games are at home.........as it stands now (a lot can happen) I'm more concerned about the Eagles than the Chiefs and Lions, especially if we beat them in the first game. We always play well on Thanksgiving, and something tells me the Lions won't be the same after losing both of their coordinators. Campbell even admitted their window has gotten a little more challenging.
Produce against a good team and without ingrain personality egos. Beat your opponent no matter the media crap head mouths.

I doubt we will be a better team. I expect us to be worse then last year. Because we didnt do anything to get better.

Sure we signed a lot of players. But all of them are more or less trash that wont even make a backup role.

Our CB position is far worse then last year. We lost our best cb in lewis and did nothing to replace him. Diggs will not play until maybe november and i doubt our 3rd rounder will be able to contribute something meaningful. Not this season.

Our OL is basically in the same bad state as last year. We swapped an all pro Martin for a promising rookie. Our center is medicore and our tackles are both trash. We have a very good LG thats it.

We have no DTs and our DE position especially against the run is expected to be worse after our FO finally said its enough and had shown DFlaw the door.

WR may be upgraded but who will throw them the ball? TE is meh, RB is worse than last year. Safties are medicore.

Did i forget something? Oh yeah the great coaching and cultural change! Seriously are you kidding me? How many more years will the FO or the media be able to sell you people this shibboleth ? Dont you understand that this is a business and the primary plan is to sell a dream? This management Bingo BS is empty PR.

Seriously this team is in the middle of an rebuild. We signed a lot of rubbish to help in that process. To be able to dress a team without making sacrifices down the road.
I haven't run the stat projection if they pee more now after a case of beer...I'll have to get back with you on that.

But I still won't believe those sea gulls took the last two Mexican beers. Hell, are they even still arriving?

Leave it alone.

We both know you are not able to do that. W or w/o beer.

Visit school, learn to read, learn the fundamentals of how to research and especially how to evaluate the quality of a source.

Then come back and we may have a discussion. But i doubt i will hear from you again if you try to follow those steps.

Anyways....

Keep posting your nice tries to make others laugh.

Christ, he's not a punk and just let him continue his work as a professional. Don't work him out with the defensive tackles...
Thats what changed in the last decades:

If you team and front office is bad for a long time, first thing is that people get used to it.
Then you get more people (fans) that dont even have the standard of being good.

And the last thing that happens is that you attract people that think that this standard we have right know is good. And that players who are really bad are no punks but valuable assets.

Its disgusting as a fan to have to experience such "progression".

You don't KNOW crap. Grow up hero. They would just kick you off the street...all they have to do is line up head up on your lame act, quivering lips. Talk football production...as if you know about the reality of drug and alcohol programs or even how to conduct a urine test and use the results.

Make your insult and demean ethics...no football as you are unable to brag a thing.:hammer:

Tell us all who makes it at DT now....no crying allowed. START with a value or take your insults and shove it!

Posted before your last post. So noted, but you earned this one.

Their team dynamics on a group level is not a popularity contest. Hence, not discussing misses the meat of the actual real dynamics of change. The sports media doesn't get away with Holywood popularity trends.

These Cowboys are getting prepared for a legitimate season. I'll respect them and and like what I have seen.

I already have hunter's instincts. If shame is your fame, that is real lame. You miss a lot of talking the real thing - football. Handle the rhyme, simple and ethical English is still there. I'll take your King Ranch hunters and still talk football.

This is a worst case scenario pessimist point of view. I can't argue it too much because it's all possible. All except for one thing, we can't possibly have a worse RB situation than last year.

The Cowboys standard operating procedure does not include a specific attempt to get better. This is the case every year, but they do sometimes get better. This year they traded for Pickens. Which is some attempt at getting better. Which is more than the usual SOP of going with the draft, trading for players past their prime, and bottom feeders in FA. I just don't see how we're worse than last year with all of those injuries and our starting QB out for half the season.

No, that is what you focused upon...looking for medals instead of just a built up chest.

This is a team that is going into the season with a QB who is coming off a season ending injury and a boat load of rookies they are relying on for larger contributions. Pickens doesn't move the needle when considering the fact that the offense is a giant question mark in terms of the RB room, the offensive line and the QB. Futhermore, no one really believes that Schottenheimer is the answer at HC - which in a way is good for him since he has nowhere to go but up.

Eleven wins for regular season. That is what I project and not kissing up to fictitious insults.

And to accompany the implied thundering by your 'high ground.' no, Rome wasn't built in two minutes before class.

Explain what Bull in a china closet is!

How can a linebacker stand up a 6'6" offensive tackle to make a play?

No one knows with all the changes that have taken place.
Yeah, so the writers and experts at NFL.com have absolutely no idea about the changes that have taken place with every NFL team.

Do you ever think before you post?

On paper, the Cowboys are dangerous. They had a bad year with injuries last year which made them look worse than they were.

They went 3-5 to start the season, which wasn't good. But they kept fighting as a team and even the backups showed they weren't push overs. That's why I know that last year was really year 1 of the so-called soft rebuild. This year they are actually closer to going all in. But they have the cap space to take it even further.

The Cowboys now have weapons on offense and defense.

Now they just need to put it together. This is a very talented team. And fans from across the league know it.
on paper the offense seems to be better, if the tackles play decent.

the defense is a mish-mosh of players, rejects and one year signings that has more question marks than answers.

Maybe ... forgetting this is the professional level of athletes and not bound by a Collegiate group of beginning money market targets.

I mean if you account for things it makes sense
1: they dont believe Dak can stay on the field
2: they dont believe they fixed anything on defense
3: the schedule looks harder than last year...
4: the HC hire probably didnt move the needle much if not backwards..

i can see the logic. Not saying its set in stone because 3 of those things could be wrong and they win the east.

Win Total: under 7.5 (+110)

Make Playoffs: +190

Win Division: +700

Win Conference: +2800

Win Super Bowl: +5500

Here’s the Cowboys’ toughest three-game stretch: In Week 12, they host the Eagles, welcome the Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day in Week 13 and then head to Detroit for a Thursday Night Football clash in Week 14. It’s important to remember that if Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons, who each missed time in 2024, are available all season, Dallas’ ceiling increases, especially if rookie right guard Tyler Booker is able to get acclimated. The first-round pick had the highest floor and was my highest-rated lineman at his position in this year’s draft.

Good. Let’s them underestimate the Cowboys.
They won 7 last year with all the injuries, including the starting QB.

Yes he does...you are now stereotyped. That is an element of projecting stereotype and not on specifics of a discussion. Plug up to an emotional detector and prove something about yourself here. No topic and Rockport has discussed tons of topical changes.

P.S. He doesn't have to be anti Jerry, Prescott, or worship a 30 year old calendar to make sense or basic respect.

How many yards are YOU saying Dak Prescott passes for this season? Step on up and go on the record, here and now with those 'insights.'
