I could see the UK still working along with Japan. Just maybe as separate leagues. I get that the NFL is trying to develop a fanbase, but, rather than seeking places in which to put a league, why not develop leagues that are already there? For example, the Japanese X-League is actually a pretty decent league. If the NFL were to help develop that league, it could become quite the well for the NFL while also being a better place to send players. I actually support the NFL playing games internationally, but not for the purpose of putting a team there. I think these games should be ambassadors for the sport of American Football. In fact, I'd rather them put the Pro Bowl back to after the Super Bowl, and have it played in an international location. By doing this, the Pro Bowl could be useful by being used as an ambassador for American Football. Doing so could increase the viewing of the sport in countries in which there is already a following of the game. Thereby, creating more intrigue in developing their own league. Thus, in the future, the Pro Bowl can shift into a World Cup. It'll take a while, but if the NFL sticks to it, it could be worth it.
