NFL in Mexico this year

Makes a lot more sense (to me) to go into Mexico and Canada, than the UK, because I could see Mexico and/or Canada getting a national team eventually (kind of like Carolina and New England serve whole areas, not a particular city), whereas w/ the UK it doesn't really work because of the incredible travel problem.

I could see the UK still working along with Japan. Just maybe as separate leagues. I get that the NFL is trying to develop a fanbase, but, rather than seeking places in which to put a league, why not develop leagues that are already there? For example, the Japanese X-League is actually a pretty decent league. If the NFL were to help develop that league, it could become quite the well for the NFL while also being a better place to send players. I actually support the NFL playing games internationally, but not for the purpose of putting a team there. I think these games should be ambassadors for the sport of American Football. In fact, I'd rather them put the Pro Bowl back to after the Super Bowl, and have it played in an international location. By doing this, the Pro Bowl could be useful by being used as an ambassador for American Football. Doing so could increase the viewing of the sport in countries in which there is already a following of the game. Thereby, creating more intrigue in developing their own league. Thus, in the future, the Pro Bowl can shift into a World Cup. It'll take a while, but if the NFL sticks to it, it could be worth it.

If we use the Pro Bowl game as our ambassador of American Football, the sport will be viewed as a lame game meant for 8 year old boys, or 10 year old girls - like soccer. :p

Hey, I happen to like Euro-style football (I refuse to call it what you call it lol). Though, there has to be a way for the NFL to expand the sport internationally. Because there are countries like Japan that are teeming with potential. Like I said, the Japanese league, from what I've seen on Youtube, isn't half bad. They just need a little more development, and they could be a legitimate league in their own right. I've heard that they wanted to have the Pro Bowl in Brazil at one point. I thought that would be a fun idea.

The games should be broadcast across the world. I don't have a team in my city, but I still enjoy some good old NFL as long as they play nice with the Cowboys. I don't like putting all our talent in one basket and jetting them off somewhere.
