NFL Incompetence

This game is slowly and surely losing it's luster it once had for me. First and foremost, I need to discuss the fact that due to league rules they needed to switch the game and we could not watch OT. What in their right mind could they be thinking that this is good for the league? I know there's something to do with money behind this being done--but can someone with better knowledge of the situation than me explain why that needs to happen? I've not been so angry watching an NFL game in my life as when they popped on the screen and said they had to switch games. You could see it in the guys face (cant even remember who it was i was so upset) that it was flat out WRONG. So, i missed the ending since I didnt have a computer available near me.

Secondly, the referees officially are in complete control of games now. Congrats, NFL the players dont decide the outcome. I'm not saying we were going to win, because odds are we were not. BUT, when I saw the replay of what happened how in anyones right mind is that different than last weeks play against Pittsburgh??? I honestly think both were catches/fumbles but you NEED to be consistent with those calls. IF I missed something, again, please explain to me because I only saw a few replays but it appeared that it was almost the same exact kind of play. The way Hartley was kicking, who knows if he wouldve made a FG farther back.

Also, thank you NY for sucking and making this game meaningless:starspin

1. The games are pulled because if you're in another market, the league is required to switch it.. happened to me too cause I live in CT but Redzone had the whole OT for me..

2. I agree with the fumble call..the refs are inconsistent. I don't think it would have mattered anyway. Really Frampton needs to beat graham to the ball.

I'm in Buffalo Bills territory. Not even that many giants fans around. Also, who got the game switched? I'm assuming in Dallas-area they kept it on, right?

The NFL has been mediocre for a while - the final straw was a 7 loss NYG team winning the Super Bowl. The last great team was the 1992-1995 Cowboys. The refs are bad -- too many DPI calls and not much holding is called. The replacement refs were as good as these guys.

Yes.. I assume Buffalo would be Giants territory as well because the Bills are likely on CBS most of the time. Like for me, I get Giants games on Fox and Pats games on CBS.

In Dallas, I'm sure they're required to stay on Cowboy games even during blowouts.

I was actually able to watch the entire game. They didn't switch until the game was over and 8 minutes had already passed in the Giants game.

Good to be me...sorta...better if they had won.

Prob didn't switch cause you're in Texas.

What's losing it's luster is the mistaken thought that 'offense sells tickets.'

It doesn't.

Never has.

Never will.
