Doesn't it seem that these FA signings are just ridiculous? How in the world does a QB almost 40 years old get a $150M contract with $100M guaranteed. 3 years contracts for 50-60M all over the place...wow

At what point do fans stop paying for all this overpaid entertainment? What the hell is a salary cap for if all these loopholes exist to escape from it.

Maybe this post belongs in the NFL Zone, but I'm starting to agree with what other Cowboys fans are saying...that maybe the Cowboys philosophy of growing your own and not paying for overpriced FAs isn't working in their favor. But if you misfire and sign the wrong FAs, you're screwed.

I wish they would get rid of the salary cap and give each player one "get out of jail free card" where they can switch teams once in their career, but owners aren't limited by a salary cap.

Hassan Reddick probably would have gotten alot more before the Covid Cap

These #'s dont seem all that big compared to when non QB's were pulling 20M AAV

You complain about inflation, but want to get rid of the salary cap? Not sure that coheres.

Who in their right mind would be OK with being limited to a single change? Regardless of industry and career choice, who would be good with this?

Fans aren't really paying their salaries. Most of the money comes from the TV deals.
