Probably another person close to the NCAA or player in trouble with a bookieI’m a Tech fan and as much as I wanted to see him play, it’s too dang much with all the bets.
My question, who told on him?
The gambling sites did. They keep tabs on all that. The only way to avoid is a bookie.I’m a Tech fan and as much as I wanted to see him play, it’s too dang much with all the bets.

Except a bookie can leave more lasting reminders....The gambling sites did. They keep tabs on all that. The only way to avoid is a bookie.

Sad. Reminds me of a song:LOL......sounds like the league is saying, we are going to clean up your mess

Or can he sign with a team as an UDFA? Pending league approval of course.(After the ACLU gets involved. LolSo, can he re-apply back to the NCAA?
last supplemental draft was 2019It's been a while since we had a supplement draft, but I guess it makes sense the NFL can review the players trying to enter it.
While the NFL is littered with gambling sponsors/ads, I guess I can see their objection simply due to the shear amount of bets he placed and the timespan.
He's not banned from the NFL, but just has to wait till the regular draft.
I think it would have been easier just to have the supplemental draft and let each team decide if/when to draft him. That way, if he went undrafted, he would become UDFA and teams could simply refuse to sign UNTIL they are satisfied with his recovery progress. This would pretty much take his Atty out of the picture. The NFL would have been in a stronger position if they had stated that due to his gambling addiction, they chose not to allow him to be part of the NFL until he completed a treatment program.
