They got a lot of nerve talking about the integrity of the game with the officials they trot out there on a weekly basis

The CeeDee Lamb first down that he stretched out against the Eagles that they said he didn't get was ridiculous and still ticks me off. Stuff like that costs games. Eagles benefited big time from that play.

How do you prove the player was faking?
Good idea but nearly impossible to enforce.
They dont need to prove anything. We see this more and moreand it is as bad as those soccer players that fall to the ground in agony trying to draw a penalty and then replay shows they werent even touched. This happened yesterday. This would be damn easy to call it and penalize a team a draft pick. Let a team lose a 4th rd pick 1 time and injured players will start crawling off the field to avoid that penalty.

I mean can you prove they were faking? This wouldn't cause players to stay in the game when they are really hurt would it? I thought the NFL was all player safety conscious and stuff?
Make the "injured" player sit out at least two plays.

Beleive this is the play that caused the league to address this

Cheating...and you can see Burrow grinning on the sideline. The NFL needs to come down hard on this cheating crap. Suspend the player 6 games and take away a top 3 round draft pick from the team doing it.

Problem is, you can't really allow the refs to decide who's faking it, so flags are probably not going to be a part of it. It'll probably just be fines and such after the league reviews the incident.

I’ve thought if a player stops play claiming an injury they should have to sit out until a change of possession. The only issue with that would be some players won’t admit they are injured.

NFL making up rules mid season....has to stop. League needs to be proactive....instead of reactive.

Shows favoritism...

I think when Aaron Rodgers quick snaps the ball as a player is leaving the field on a substitution to get a 5 yard penalty called is unsportsmanlike too. How is that any different than a guy going down with a fake injury? Or how about when QBs alter their signal cadence and move their heads and hands to draw a player offsides? That's not legal but they never call it. If they want to eliminate the funny business them eliminate all of it.

NFL is investigating the Anthony Brown injury and asking for medical reports to be sent to the office.

I would guess a team / player could refuse as you’re getting into HIPPA privacy protections. And cramps won’t show up. Guys can easily claim cramping. If the NFL starts asserting guys are faking (even if they are) the NFLPA will get involved.

This will just force teams to be more subtle but it won’t stop unfortunately. They’ll designate a couple guys for injury duty.

Keeping an injured player out a minimum # of plays may be the best way to handle this.

NFL contracts require players to waive HIPPA for a football related medical condition. Medical disclosure is required. That is what the injury list is all about. The purpose of that is to keep gamblers from stealing, cheating, and bribing team or medical staff for inside info.
