I dont think that knee is right, nor will it ever be. I mean D linemen are chasing him down from behind. I always thought he would be a lesser version of Mike Vick, but not the complete bust it appears he is

I'd personally love bringing in RG3 to be Tony's backup. Especially since the alternative is currently Brandon Weeden.

Let him sit for a few years and who knows? Maybe he'd be ready to take the mantle once Tony's done. He was a great rookie QB just a couple years ago.

I like this post because it looks like it would be one of Bob the Third's Twitter promotional campaigns of himself. He is such a fraud.

I don't understand this. Weeden clearly won't be here next year. I get that but why would we trade for a broken down QB when we could use that pick and draft one?

Because the "broken down QB" has already shown what he can do in this league under the right circumstances, whereas drafting a QB is a total crapshoot.

He also wouldn't cost us a 1st rounder. If we could get him for a 3rd I'd jump on it.

Gimme RG3 or Austin Davis as Romo's backup and successor. They'll be 28/29 by then but if we can get 5-6 years out of them then I'll take it

Maybe the old RGIII but the one that exists today. He is far from the hot shot rookie of 2012. Actually it reminds me of Deion. Once he lost the speed that gave him an edge, he was done. Same with RGIII. He will never be the same guy without his ability to successfully scramble and put that fear into defenses. Herm Edwards broke down his play on ESPN and it was VERY telling. I didn't realize how far his play had slipped. The reads he was missing were reads a high school QB could make. Gruden had no choice but to pull him.

Now, there isn't any circumstance or system he fits into. Just like Vince Young. He couldn't read defenses and poof he was out of the league never to return. Spending a 7th rounder on RGIII would be wasting a 7th rounder. Might as well just pass on the pick. It would provide for fewer headaches. Also lets not forget his starting record is 12-18 and in his 3 seasons didn't finish the first 2 healthy and got benched now in his 3rd.

He's broken, I'm just not so sure he can't be fixed. He showed too much potential for me to believe he's beyond all hope at age 24.

Why would we want a QB with two bad knees who can't read a defense? No thanks!

Rg's not going to command much. He's playing skittish. I wouldn't mind seeing him here behind Romo for a while. Romos one good hit from being done. I'd rather have a guy with talent than Jerry trying to find a QB. To many years between Troy and Tony. Flame away.

I'll let Chris friggin Cooley do it.
