I agree Zach Thomas will add veteran presence to this club and will elevate play of others. But I think the most he will do is really elevate the play over Akin's play last year vs the run and esp against the pass. How many ints did Akin have last year? I bet Zack gets 3-5 this year. He and James will make running against us difficult. And they will make the safeties job much easier with getting back in coverage. And here is another place he will help. James can learn a lot from this guy esp in coverage but all around.

Despite the fact I say these guys need to talk less and just do it, I really think this defense will rock. It can be as powerful as some Ds we haven't seen in awhile.
