I think hodge makes a good point, we are constantly putting ourselves in 3rd and 10 or longer situations through penalties and a lack of consistent running game.

No qb in this league can withstand an onslaught of well designed blitzes. It just doesn't happen.

They need to get back to running the ball and stop falling in love with the pass.

What is it when teams blitz up the middle? As noted, that it were the Cowboys are having trouble. I bet he doesn't have a 91QB rating then.

The error in the play they shown was on Colombo and Choice. You always block inside pressure before outside pressure. Choice picked up the LB rather than the safety which gave Romo no place to go.

...it's not his success rate they are talking about...but his tendency to get blitzed because Romo is perceived to be susceptible to being rattled when you come after him...164 times pretty much confirms this perception...and they must be thinking that Romo has trouble identifying blitzers...
