I can't see us passing on Ginn, Jr. He can make an immediate impact and he has too much talent to pass up.

other than that, which is a good point

what do you think of the rest of the draft?

How about trading Julius, Mcquistain, our 1st, 2nd, 4th, and a 2nd next year for the Browns pick and take Calvin Johnson

why dont we trade D Ware and the rest of the picks for a bologna sandwich while we are at it..........:bang2:

Eric Weddle in the first round.......wow.....that is the first mock I have seen with him that high.....and honestly, I cannot question your motives for putting him there, cause you have him going to the 1 team who would actually take him in the first IMO

Kiper has been talking about him going in the first now for a couple of weeks. Im not sure if he has him on his mock draft but has been bringing up when talking about options for at least the Cowboys to choose from.

well hell.......that screws up my latest mock now doesn't it?

I don't think he will go first round but then again who would of thought Whitner was going top 10 last year.

I disagree, while I like the upside of a bologna sandwich, id rather have Calvin Johnson, who is being described as Terrell Owens w/o the lip flapping

Yes, but its been thoroughly proven on this very board that taking a receiver in the first round is a bad idea. Keep up. :D

Mike Lynn, are you back?

I like it, but if you really want it to be close to accurate, you almost have to assume that the Eagles will take a player from a big school. Look at their draft history and over the last 10 years:

1 2006 14 14 Brodrick Bunkley DT Florida State
2005 31 31 Mike Patterson DT USC
2004 16 16 Shawn Andrews T Arkansas
2003 15 15 Jerome McDougle DE Miami (FL)
2002 26 26 Lito Sheppard DB Florida
2001 25 25 Freddie Mitchell WR UCLA
2000 6 6 Corey Simon DT Florida State
1999 2 2 Donovan McNabb QB Syracuse
1998 11 11 Tra Thomas T Florida State
1997 25 25 Jon Harris DE Virginia

Not a small school to be found on the list. That tells me that would me more likely to take Harris or Timmons at their spot or trade out.

Someone will Take Peterson before 10

idk, the only teams that need a RB before Houston is Cleveland, maybe Detroit, although they just traded for Tatum Bell, and I don't think anyone will take AD that high

Who? Inside joke im guessing.....

Well, what Im saying is, if AP falls to like numbers 6, someone will see the chance to trade up and get the player they wanted for less that they thought in a trade up.

Bills, Packers, Giants ect.

Mike Lynn was the Vikings GM who traded a slew of picks and players for a guy named Herschel Walker.

Hardly an inside joke.
