Matt Ryan? Aaron Rodgers? Tom Brady? Even Derek Carr?
I heard the argument on the radio a few minutes ago. As a QB this one is 1st in this, the other is 1st in that,.....which one is first in winning? Isn't that their primary responsibility?
Oh, but Dak has that great offensive line......You mean the one that Weeden, Moore and Cassel had last season enroot to one combined victory?
Yeah, but what about the Cowboy's superior running game available to Dak? Glad you mentioned it! Yes, let's talk about that.....
Okay, but Dak and Zeke are splitting votes, that's why they can't win.....And what if they weren't splitting votes? Go ahead, add them up...What does that look like?
But you can't give the award to two different players, it's never been done.....What if we were talking about two players for the same team? Has two of the top 6 vote getters ever played for the same team?
Has any of the current candidates had as much of an effect on their team's success as these two rookies had together for their's?
What was the 2015 record of the other candidate's team? how does it compare to this year?
How dramatic was the change as a result of their amazing performance this season? By the way, what prevented them from making that contribution last season?
Are there any other elements of the other candidate's team that could be considered responsible for the team's success? Something like...I don't know....the #1 ranked defense in points allowed for Brady's Patriots....
Matt Ryan's Falcons were 8-8 last season, they could be 11-5 this season....Is a three game positive swing indicative of the improvement in Ryan's MVP performance this season compared to last?
I agree that Carr is having a great season.....sorry, had a great season.....he and both of his thousand yard WR's....
Aaron Rodgers....2016 season league MVP? When exactly did the season start, Thanksgiving?
MVP voters should do the right thing and give the award to whoever means the most to the success of their team. In that respect, they would have no choice but to make Dak and Zeke the 2016 NFL Co-MVP's....and then they should do it again for the Rookie of the Year.
Biased? We will see, the season isn't over.......
