NFL Network - Dez Bryant classics all day

Until the game losing pick.

He still shouldn’t have been in that position after how well he played the whole game. It’s just a matter of statistics that you’re eventually going to make a mistake in a high flying shootout. One defense stood up and made a game changing play and one couldn’t.

I had a couple games from last year on my dvr to rewatch. I deleted them last night...I can’t see Dez right now knowing he’s gone.

Yea, I didn't want to go there, staying positive.

I miss Romo too. He could have walked that down the field and beaten them. That would have changed that entire season.

Murray is on the left not in triple coverage, Tony. I screamed at the TV after the pick.

So why didn't Peyton get slammed by those statistics and Romo did?

That defense argument doesn't wash since Romo threw into triple coverage and ignored Murray on the left singled up. Because in the estimation of those who make that argument, Romo sliced up the Denver defense with his skill, only to lose because of his defense, but Peyton enjoyed a better defensive performance which allowed him to win.

Yet when Romo elected to throw to a covered Witten, the game was tied.

Both defenses had performed the same and only the pick deep in the Cowboy end of the field made the difference.

Dallas and Denver game is on now...

I miss Tony :(

Watching a game which the team lost, makes you miss a particular player?

I mean it wasn’t Romo’s fault they lost that day, obviously. But watching the team lose doesn’t make me wax poetic for somebody or feel nostalgic.

Sucks for you.

I love watching Romo tear apart one of the best teams in the NFL at the time.

It’s fun watching him play. Pretty laughable our defense has still made almost no progress too. Dez’s fault I’m sure.

I was a huge Romo fan. Wore his jersey all the time. I always believed in him as a player.

That being said, the team accomplished basically nothing during his whole career. The fact that they accomplished nothing during his career, isn’t romo’s Fault, generally.

But I just don’t feel any nostalgia for years in which the team didn’t succeed.

That’s fine.. I don’t think nfl network would show it though if nobody liked it.

That being said. It was one hell of an intense game against the broncos. Honestly that game above any other, is a microcosm of Romo’s whole career.

Romo plays lights out all game. And not one player on the defense. Not one freaking player on defense could make a play when needed the most to help the team win. Just one freaking play at a key moment. And nobody else stepped up.

Brian Waters at OG would look really good right now. Even at age 36, for 5-6 games he gave us some of the best OG play since L. Allen.
