I just got my new cell phone (HTC Touch Pro) and i got the "Sprint TV" package and on it. Included on it is the NFL network. Anyone know if this is the same as whats being played on the tv or is it just select shows? NFLS greatest games is on now.

Yes its the same as whats on TV, it was real nice for Thursday Night Football. Enjoy it I have that phone also and love it.

Oh i plan on enjoying it trust me haha now i have something to do while sitting around at work. Also whats the sling box thing you were talking about?

Hey on your phone how was the picture quality of NFL network. I was just watching it for a minute or two and while it was decent it was very short of spectacular. Was yours kinda the same?

You can also get a slingbox and but the sling mobile software.

Slingboxes are pretty sweet. Useless if you have an ISP who caps your bandwidth or just don't have a monster connection to handle the upload needed.

You hook it up to your cable box and internet at home and you can watch all your home tv programs on your phone....you should have a very good data package

I have it on my blackberry, it is the same as on TV just with a slight delay

This thread reminded me... Who was the guy before the draft who was talking about getting the Ticket and other streaming radio sites on his Windows Mobile phone? I got rid of my Blackberry in favor of a Windows Mobile phone for just that reason, and it's really cool to be able to listen to any radio station no matter where I am.

I know some flash-enabled browsers will be out for Blackberry soon, but I think I like this phone better anyway. So thanks to whoever that was for the tip. :)

You dont need a slingbox to stream tv to a windows mobile phone. All you need is a TV tuner card and the right software, and you can stream to a phone, pc, netbook, whatever!

HTC can be sluggish at times and the Palm Pre has it's own issues. Pre is supposed to be really cool though.

With windows mobile you can download software that turns your phone into a wifi hotspot too, so that's a plus if you're like me and have a WinMo phone on Verizon but have an iPod touch because AT&T is no good

Really? Cool.

So is that a Win Mobile thing, or can the iphone and Blackberry phones do that?

And casmith, how do you get wifi like that? I guess I could google, but...

you can stream tv from a windows mobile phone(touchpro) using skyfire and justin.tv...I was watching the lakers/nuggets game a few weeks back. Quality isnt too great but I dont feel like paying all that money for slingbox.

Well, it's a windows media player thing. That's the best thing about a smartphone running a windows OS, you can get all the free wallpaper, music, ringtones, etc. you want. Just synch with your pc and copy it over.

I think you can stream to blackberry, but without flashing the firmware. I'm not sure, though.

Oh, btw, the Palm Treo is a awsome phone. I just got one, and its sweet!
