17 total offensive points in two weeks is a problem, I don't care who you play. This is supposed to be the best offense in football, and that looked hideous. The last two games are what playoff games are like.
Yes our offense definitely has developed some warts over the last 2 games. If our defense can keep improving and we can get back on track offensively, we should be ok for the playoffs. NOW that is a big "if" because historically I have yet to know if any of our coaches can fix the offensive issues we have. The Bucs are a very good test to see if we can get back on track.

Can you imagine going 14-2 or 13-3, but losing three times to the Giants in the same year?

Ugh.

There has been a notable drop off in the efficiency of Dallas offense over the last few games. If you dont admit that, its still there. Not saying we suck, but something has changed. whether its the league has figured out how to befuddle Dak, or the game plan is too simplified and the league has figured out how to stop it, I dont know what changed. But since the pit game, we are not the same team. The D is a bend but dont break D that relies on the O scoring points to allow them room for error.

Not saying we suck, cause we dont, but we are not playing at the high level the O was used to through the first 10 games or so. Till that is corrected I dont see a problem with people doubting us. I am leary of the games at times now as well. I cant say with total confidence that we will destroy Tampa Bay, I am not sure we would destroy Cleveland if we played them this week. (pretty sure we would win, but it could be a close and ugly game).

I think Dallas will win this week but I would not bet money on it as I would have mid season when we were the toast of the league. Either we have regressed (dont see how) or the league has figured out how to confuse Dak and slow Zeke to the point he cant do it all. I personally think we need a heavy and good pass rush to make the D stout and be able to carry this offense right now. That aint going to happen at this point in the year so we have to fly by the seat of our pants and pray that Dak returns to mid season form......(gulp) or put in Romo for a spark?

Defenses are getting off the field on 3rd down against us.. That's the difference.

I'm sure we have tendencies of things we do on 3rd down and Jason Garrett teams usually struggle when teams catch on to our tendencies in the passing game.

We will have these new wrinkles in our system from year to year and sometimes you get this amazing production and then when teams figure out how to slow it down we just keep plugging away instead of making teams pay for overplaying certain things we do.

Our run game needs to get sparked back up. Explosive runs.

Every team has problems that crop up from one week to the next, whether it's being acknowledged by the media or not. It's up to the offensive staff to correct what's ailing them before things really get out of hand. If they're unable to do that, it's quite possible they're not earning their pay. That's when it's time to consider that either some staff or player changes might be in order. Let's just see if improvement follows our troubles before doing anything crazy. Perhaps it's even time now to open up the playbook to some extent for Dak as well. It's time for the staff to be open to change.

Members of the media and sports journalists are the epitome of anti-realists. If one thing goes wrong the sky is always falling in their minds. I think they've been conditioned to think this way because it draws ratings when they overreact to something, especially when it involves the Cowboys. Tampa could be a decent challenge but we are definitely the favorites.

I think they're just going off of our offensive struggles the past few games. I don't see why it's so far fetched to think we struggle against the bucs defense too.

For the second time this season, I don't feel confident with coming away with a W.

Minn and NY, offense has struggled before that they put up 31 points on the skins.

I don't know what you're arguing here. Unless you're just playing semantics. If so, let me fix it for you.

Just pointing out it was not the past few games. The game vs Minn was tough but it has been tough for every team who had gone up to Minn and played there. NY game was just a poor outing no excuses but it just appears at the 1st sign of trouble some people go into this panic mode of what is wrong with the Cowboys. Outside of losing last weeks game there is nothing wrong.

Heck I'm more encouraged that the defense played as well as they did and should help build some confidence on that side of the ball.

The temperature for Sunday nite is forecast to be windy and low 20's.
They have Doug Martin and we have the zeketer.
They have Mike Evans and we have dez.
They have a great dline and lbers.
We have a great o line.
This should be a fantastic matchup.
Hopefully we can grind out a win.

I respect your opinion but respectfully disagree :)

Teams have keyed in on our running game. The same thing happened in '14. We needed a QB who could actually pass our way to wins in December of that year. If Dak shows the ability to do that we may have a shot. If not, we're one and done in the playoffs and we wasted our best shot at a Super Bowl. It's that simple.

Last night forecasting W/L of the remaining wild card chase. Without hesitation, both guys put a W next to the Tampa/Dallas game for the Bucs.

Noting: With all the problems Dallas is having right now....

What are ALL the problems?

It's Dallas. The NFLN is run by an old ESPN producer. Talking trolling the Cowboys about 'all of the problems' is old hat for a former ESPN guy.

And they wonder why the NFLN's and ESPN's ratings are down.

Perhaps because it's the same nonsense that has been spewed out for the past 15 years that people are just no longer interested.

If our D plays the way it did against the Giants, we'll kick the crap out of the Bucs. I have no doubt that our O will get back on track this game. This is one of those games where we find out not only what the players are made of, but the coaches too. I want to see how bad they want to get the bad taste of a loss out of their mouths.....

Hmmm...maybe Jerry should open up the stadium to see how the team from Tampa responds to the cold weather.

That is alright. lol I'm not concerned with Tampa I'm only concerned with how the Cowboys bounce back from this past loss. We all want to see this team make it to the SB and to get there you need to play good ball. This is the Cowboys opportunity to show they are for real vs a good team
