your avatar explains your statement lol
Martin whiffed on his block of peppers, had he made a decent block peppers never gets to murray from behind.

Murray should have been by him IMO. I mean, a better block would have obviously prevented that play but, that block was enough IMO. Murray should have been through that hole and in the secondary and even if he doesn't get through the hole, he never should have fumbled there.

We couldnt stop Aaron Rodgers when it counted. No pass rush, or pass defense did us in.

Well murray was holding the ball loosely, and I think hand should be over the nose of the ball, not under it.
The worst thing though is getting the ball hit by someone behind you can easily catch the player off guard, which is what happened
there.

I could also argue that with a broken hand, should murray even be playing? they had ol Randle on the bench,
and he was totally healthy and rested, and might have had a good game.

I also wonder why coaches did not make murray hold the nose of the ball ??

And on Martin block, he bends over and puts his head down, and when he does that he cant see anything but the ground,
and he did that frequently, and I wonder why coaches didnt correct that,
That is how peppers got off his block.
plus bending over too far you lose balance and strength.
It was a odd play where several things just went wrong.

yeah I think Marinelli went to his infamous prevent zone, and aaron ate it up.
Marinelli made it easy for Aaron.

I agree with all you are saying but the truth is that he should have been through the hole IMO. It was not a great block but it was enough to make that play work. Broken hand or no, he should have had that ball secured much better then he did.

That was too be expected, I figured it was going to be a shoot out with the Cowboys coming out on top. However I knew on the last possession it was going to be hard to prevent them from getting a first down to seal the game.

I watched a little bit of it today. I can't stand the last minute of the first half. Up 14-7 with the ball inside the 40 with timeouts left and we really could have put Green Bay in a serious hole but we had poor clock management and playcalling and settled for a FG attempt. Bailey misses it, we get a false start from Ladouceur, and Bailey tries it again from 50 and misses it. Green Bay gets the ball back with :29 and drives down to gets a FG and go into halftime down 14-10 instead of 17-7 or 21-7. The other play that pisses me off during that sequence was Cobb's 'catch' for Green Bay for 12 yards when they got the ball back. It was challenged by replay officials but they upheld it. I don't think it was a catch. It took replay officials awhile to decide.

And to watch Rodgers gimp around with a bad calf and still beat us just makes ya sick.

It was NOT a catch. Cannot understand why media, fans, coaches/players were not more steamed about this...that was a much easier call to make than the call that went against Dez. Ball was CLEARLY on the ground!

What makes me sick is the Packers having to account for a Demarcus Ware could have made a difference in that game especially with Rodgers playing on one leg. Despite our defense being the 3rd worst statistically in league history in 2013 we had 7 more sacks and several more pressures that season than we did in 2014 due to the departure of Ware.

Murray lost that ******* game !

That's BS! Had the Cowboys been able to make a few plays on defense they would have won that game. Our D couldn't cover, tackle or mount a pass rush.

And had Murray not gifted them the ball with an open field in front, we could have played the run out the clock game.

Lots of little things could have won us the game. We just didn't make the plays. And our defense wasn't talented enough that season.

How do you play the run out the clock game with 11 minutes to play in the 3rd quarter? Let's say Murray doesn't fumble and scores on that play and the Cowboys took a 21-10 lead do you honestly believe with over 10 minutes to play in the 3rd quarter they were going to be able to hold on to that lead vs Aaron Rodgers with as bad as our defense was performing??? lol I don't need to re watch the game to remember how bad our defense looked in the second half. We missed tackles, couldn't cover or mount a pass rush. Rodgers was eating the defense up and we couldn't stop Eddie Lacy who averaged 5.3 a carry. On the Packers final possession they easily ate up the clock in the final 4 minutes we couldn't stop the pass or the run.

The Packers drove uncontested from the Cowboys 33 to their own 28 and Rodgers was able to start taking a knee at 1:43. If the Packers needed a TD on their final drive they would have had no problem we couldn't stop them. Even Jerry pointed to the Cowboys defensive performance as the reason the team went defense on their first 2 picks in last years draft. You're kidding yourself if you think the Cowboys could have eaten up 26 minutes of the second half running the ball to protect an 11 point lead. That's ridiculous!

If Murray doesn't fumble and Bailey makes a kick, it's 24-7.

That's a couple of ifs FANS play the "if" game here all the time. Even had Bailey made the kick Rodgers still had time to toss a couple of long ones down the field for either a TD or a quick FG right before the half. As bad as the defense looked not even 24-7 lead with 26 minutes left would have been secure facing Aaron Rodgers who had an MVP season in 2014. If anyone doesn't think the Cowboys wouldn't have been capable of blowing that lead with all the time that was left is just kidding themselves.
