You won't be alone, and I know Romo needs snaps. But because of his injury history over the past 2 years, and his age, it's the smart thing to do. He'll be ready for the Giants.

How much will Romo benefit from a preseason game, not sure. I'd likely play him at least a full quarter and then some, before switching to Dak. Certainly makes a pre season game more interesting, and I can see wanting to get him reps/experience now because Romo will get nearly all in season, so sure what ever.

More than likely he will be. He always seems Rusty in the first game. If Eli hadn't thrown that ball out of the end one, we lose that game. But, that drive down the field to score that last TD was AMAZING.

Just watched a you tube video of a 1994 preseason game Cowboys-Oilers in Mexico City of all places. Troy played the entire first half without Emmitt or Michael.....and this was after they won 2 SBS in a row.

I get to see it locally anyway, but still , why does a football life take the spotlight over a game. Especially when they show those football life show over and over and over....NFLN programming sucks.
