Just caught about half the piece on Romo and Manning and it was pretty interesting.

Lots of commentary about Romo's reputation being unreasonable.

They showed a graphic of 4Q performance with the game within 4 points and Manning had more opportunities but Romo's numbers were pretty solid and he had a higher QB Rating......99 compared to Mannings rating that was low 90s.

Wonder if someone can find a video of it or has a video of it.

I could probably record it with my phone but it would probably turn out like crap.

I'm uploading the video now, will post in a few. Taking forever to finish.

Will post the placeholder for now (that way I don't have to worry about it later), but it will probably be 30 minutes or so before it's processed, etc.

If David Tyree doesn't catch a pass with his head this isn't even an issue.

Eli throws up more prayers than Tim Tebow.

I am trying to remember- was it one or two plays before the helmet pass that eli put the ball in Samuels hands and he dropped it?

Thanks Kilyin, appreciate that.

Its an interesting piece in the sense that Eli might actually have more pressure with being the brother of HOF QB and being the higher draft pick. I never saw it from that angle before.

EXACTLY! All this talk about Eli winning a SB is BS! The Giants defense won that game while ours continues to fold under pressure.

Eli had 30 turnovers last season! He has 20 this year.

Romo had 13 two years ago and 11 this year, yet somehow he is considered a "turnover machine" and Eli is clutch? (Romo had 7 TOs last year but only played 6 games so I didn't use it for comparison).

I guess for the morons of the world, perception is reality. They believe what they want to believe. :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

The comparison image the OP was talking about. I'd still recommend watching the video though.

Mooch = 100% correct. Thanks for remember the SF game. Glad someone in the video also remembered the 4 come from behind wins we have thanks to Tony. It doesn't negate the blown leads, but it isn't all famine.

Marshal says, "To be a free agent, that is one thing. To be the #1 pick and then win a super bowl, omg, do you know how hard that is?"

Seriously?

Is he seriously saying that it is easier to win a Super Bowl as a free agent than as a #1 Pick?

Just makes no sense....wow.

This whole notion that Romo HAS to win a super bowl is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. It is a team game.

Staubach has Doomsday...Aikman had #1 defenses when they won super bowls. Romo has Rob Ryan and his overated defense with no secondary.

Eli won the super bowl on a hail mary that was answered with a defense that was stifling people down the stretch.

So DUMB.

Marshall Faulk = :rake:

Aside from him and Theismann, NFLN is more than a few steps above ESPN, IMO.

But for all his regular season success big brother Peyton has still only won ONE Superbowl... the same number as Eli.

I'd tend to think Eli's one championship took alot of the pressure off of him.

That take and his comment about how "when Eli DOES throw a pick, his demeanor at the podium is just better." What a bunch of nonsense. That's the best he can cling to because nothing else backs up his tired schtick. The fact that Romo was an UDFA uninvited to the combine and Eli was a first round pick does not make Eli's life harder. Complete rubbish.

BIG props to Mooch for pointing out the 49ers game, stats, and all other evidence. He made a really good point that if you take 2007 away, Eli is hands down beneath romo. Now, you can't take it away and Eli did have 2007 and Romo didn't, but it's still something to look at today.

Oh snap. Thanks for that. I never knew. Exhibit A: don't take the talking heads at face value - know it for yourself
